Are u talking about the picture quality or the cake design being the turn off? because the first set of pic i pasted were taken about 2yrs ago before i got photography tips from chaz (see http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-76649.0.html) @Sisi Eko  Is there anyone else who agrees with Ndipe and Sisi Eko? We're definately not too egotistic to learn new things and are open to constructive critism (once every 25 years, LOL)  |

kznguru or whatever it is, how come its hard for you to accept when people have one or more comment that doesnt suit you, we all don't have to like your cake or see it as the best, there arecertainly other cakes that are far better than yours, i noticed you replied everyone who didnt pick your cake as the best, and you even tried changing their opinion, so why did you start the topic in the first place. learn to accommodate various suggestions wether good or bad, as it will only make you better, thats why you are in market.

Its seems to me you are the one trying to force yourself to be heard here. I have followed all his posts and his reaction to comments has been better than a regular customer service. All he does is try to explain why whatever you complained about is so and even tells you he will work at your suggestions. For God's sake, he didn't even react harshly to his competitors and people praising other bakers on his post. All I see from his last post is that he welcomes more suggestions or did you miss that part? Are you always like this? or do you know him personally. He is just trying to promote his product just like any other company. Never read him say you must love his cakes and patronize him.

Never eaten your cake before but promise to do so soon. I believe a lot in handling customers well and I like the way you have handled all comments on your post. Was expecting you will be harsh on posters by now. Please keep it up. I hope your staff members are as polite as you are. Customers can go out of their pay to annoy you but the way they are being handled is what makes the difference.

Hello omofola the cakes u've tasted were FRUIT cakes  , brown with mixed fruits. Most of our clients walk in and pick up cakes off the shelf and i'm sure you realise that fruit cakes are designed to get better with time and can even last for years if u keep them well (that explains why most wedding cakes are fruit cakes). I would like to personally recommend my new chocolate gateau cake, its incredibly delicious and affordable (if i may say so myself). It comes in double layer (choc+choc or choc+any other flavour) with cream filling.  You can also order for vanilla, strawberry, marble, carrot and cheesecakes  Please stop the torture! I'm trying to work here. My keyboard is swimming in an ocean of drool. STOOOOP! My way of saying great [looking] cakes. Chocolate and fruit drive me crazy. A generous helping of brandy should help things. |

As I said, I appreciate people who knows how to manage good customer relationship. I don't even know who knzguru is. Did't you read the part where Omofola wrote "kznguru or whatever it is"? I feel that addressing someone that way sounds not-nice. I think you should read her post again. I would pick a good person with a bad product over a bad person with a good product. To me, Omofola's last posting wasn't warranted after seeing that kznguru is willing to take suggestions obviuosly.
For the record, I don't get interested in people that way.

Araba's gateaus are very good,i have not been impressed by their sponge cake.
Cakes n Cream's and sponge cake is nice and the prices are competitive,but about their other cakes i'm not so sure about that.
