Australia Visa Application

I am a student who is applying for a 10 weeks program in Australia starting in 2008 January

I have successfully secured an admission  from the institute and will make payment soon to get the CoE(certificate of enrollment)

I am paying the school $3000 and $200 AUD for accommodation assistance in setting up an accommodation in Australia which they estimated at $270 weekly which included 2 meal plan and 3 meal plan for weekends.

I also sent an extra $100 AUD for airport pickup to the school  once i get to the airport they school will pick me up and convey me to my lounge


Now I am about applying for a VISA

I need possible things I will include to enable me successfully secure entry clearance to Australia.
I was reading some files and found the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is this necessarily important when i already have a AHM VET 12 Months(paid )  included in my tuition fee.

Also are there any affidavit I and my sponsor who happens to be my in-law provide .My in-law presently only has one daughter who will be 1 yr old by January 2008 and he has a good flourishing business to be able to provide a bank account worth up to 2-4 million

Tax clearance and utility bills and up to date and receipt and invoices for business can also be made available

now i need more tips on what and what to provide for me to secure the visa to study.I intend coming back to Nigeria to move to the Uk after the 10 months as i want to boast my transcript for a masters course in Uk.

So please in listing can you help me with what and what I should provide to get this VISA

and best time to apply and through who ,  do i got through DHL who charges about N75,000 including Visa fee and courier to and fro  or do i get an Australia friend help me apply straight in Australia

 I want to know how u i can apply for the admission because i  got that can of admission in canada they didnt give  me visa what they say is that amnot yet married  and my sponsor doesnt pay the tax well. so help me with thecontact let me try again.

@Paw-Paw thanks but no thanks . now listen there is no place outside africa where there isnt racism all you need do is be your self and try survive as a nigeria. I had been victim of racism even in UK when i went for a conference so all this happens every where.

@dr.seuz thanks for the contribution . but the present visa fee is about $430 including a to and from DHL courier i want to know possible things they require for a student visa application . I have been reading lots and I am sure some expert who know far beyond the general requirement.

@poster try www. immi.gov.au that shld work.since i don't know the type of course ure applying for i can't tell u what the requirement is. but ull get all the info on the site australians are not so bad as and as long as u know what your doing and mind your own bussiness everybody(anywhere) will respect u.

oh boy the list plenty as per your course u shld be applying for higher education visa subclass573 only u can do it yourself. just go to immi.gov.au and check the student visasection n ull see the application checklist its a pdf file  ull have to print the stuff and read properlly.goodluck!
