Just heard the "Special One" has been sacked. But I also heard he parted by mutual agreement.
The fact is that Jose is no more Chelsea's manager.
Though I don't like him, I feel so sad to see him go.
He's been a fantastic addition to the premiership.
All the best Jose.

Like I said, I don't like him and I'm not a Chelsea fan, but he's been fastastic for Chelsea.
He's not been able to create an exciting team I know, which is what Roman wants but you can't take anything away from him.
He's been a great addition to English football and we will all miss him.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has sensationally left Stamford Bridge, according to BBC Radio 5live football correspondent Jonathan Legard. The news comes just 24 hours after the disappointing Champions League draw against Rosenborg. Legard understands that Mourinho has texted senior players, including skipper John Terry, with the news of his departure from Stamford Bridge. There has been no official word so far from the Premiership club. More to follow. BBC SportJose Mourinho is set to quit as Chelsea manager after his latest bust up with owner Roman Abramovich, according to reports. Abramovich called crisis talks following Tuesday night's disappointing 1-1 draw with Norweigan minnows Rosenborg in the Champions League were the duo had a falling out. Mourinho is believed to have informed senior players of his decision to quit following training on Wednesday. The information was subsequently leaked to the press and a Soccernet source insists the press pack are ready to run with story, despite apparent phone calls to Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon and director of sport Avram Grant, who both deny having any information on the rumour. Mourinho's rocky relationship with Abramovich is public knowledge and despite an apparent thaw in relations last season the duo were again at odds over the role of £30million striker Andrei Shevchenko and the Blues' dour style of football before Tuesday's result brought events to a head. The Portuguse manager, who has won the Champions League with Porto and two Premier League titles as Chelsea manager, hinted at an exit last summer when he admitted he 'was a bit fed up with certain things' at the club. Many betting companies have stopped taking odds on Mourinho quitting Chelsea, but the club have yet to confirm the reports. After three-years at the London club he is expected to take training for the final time on Friday, when he will say good bye to his players. ESPNsoccernet

You're right. That is the last straw that broke the camel's back. He indirectly or even directly classed his own signings as second and third rate players. Roman felt it's time to show who the boss is. Akin Alabi

@ Akolawole,
What do u have to say now? Didnt i tell u guys that MOURINHO is highly SACKABLE and WENGER/FERGUSON are UNSACKABLE? Roman asked questions . . . . why Chelsea play drab football, why they sold just 24,000 tickets and why they cannot SCORE GOALS. Its pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ I-man,
Check your sources. . . . .
JOSE MOURINHO WAS SACKED. He didnt resign. Roman never gave him that chance Mourinho was SACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/09/20/nmou120.xmlJose Mourinho last night told his senior players that he was resigning as manager of Chelsea after a final fall-out with the club's billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich. Jose Mourinho sent text messages to his top players wishing them 'good luck in the rest of your career'
Mourinho sent text messages to John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba wishing each of them "good luck in the rest of your career" and saying that he was leaving the club this morning.
He has been frustrated for some time with the tense situation at Chelsea, and particularly the perceived interference of Abramovich in team affairs.
Mourinho was unhappy with the £30 million arrival of Andrei Shevchenko, a striker much admired by Abramovich.
The self-styled "Special One" rarely praised Shevchenko and pointedly ignored the Ukrainian when he scored in Chelsea's embarrassing 1-1 Champions League draw with Norwegian side Rosenborg on Tuesday night. advertisement
Following Chelsea's lame display in a competition Abramovich has his heart set on winning, Mourinho was yesterday summoned to a crisis meeting.
After that, Mourinho decided to resign, his frustration at Chelsea's ludicrous internal politics boiling over.
Chelsea now head to the Premiership champions, Manchester United, on Sunday without their charismatic coach.
At the heart of yesterday's final fall-out between Mourinho and Abramovich is the owner's desire for more attractive football, the type of free-flowing attacking game that Chelsea have failed to manage consistently under Mourinho.
While the Portuguese manager was winning back-to-back League titles, an uneasy peace lingered - but when results began to slip, Abramovich's displeasure became obvious.
The Russian walked out early from Chelsea's 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa earlier this season, and he will not have enjoyed Tuesday's poor result and performance.
Mourinho, 44, will go down as Chelsea's most successful manager, and the fans will lament the charismatic coach's departure.
He was voted Premiership Manager of the Year in 2005 and 2006, and he will not be short of job offers. Chelsea's board must now quickly call a meeting with Terry, Lampard, Drogba.
