It wudn't look bad with a pair of jean trousers so long as the colours do not clash.

As a fashionister, ankara on jean is really cool. first you have to take notice of the pattern on the ankara, there are ankara best for stuffs like this, such ankara would not be so loud with its design it has to be reall cool, also the direction of the pattern really matters, remember its a shirt. u also have to be chossy when it comes to jean.Denims are just too cool. i have couple of designs just for the perfect shirt type.

I personally love it. they fit so well and are more decent than regular tops cs u don't have to worry so much about pulling 'em down to cover your jeans any time u bend or som'n. like the others said right color combo's all dt matters.

When appropriately combined, African fabrics over jeans are always cool.

Totally. I wear blouses made of local fabrics with denim, and sometimes add a leather jacket. Match colours and wear whatever you like with tons of confidence so you get away with stuff, you know?
