Patricia Etteh In Foreign News
« #161 on: September 23, 2007, 06:21 AM »

A montage of the disgraceful fight between some of the politicians in Nigeria have been aired in a local TV station in America. That woman, Patricia Etteh should not only be impeached, but in addition to that, face jail sentence. Greed which is the bane of our society is way too much for one to comprehend.

What does the foreign news have to do with whether or not the woman should be jailed? Huh

Re: Patricia Etteh In Foreign News

It has no relevance to it, except to add that bad news travel fast. CNN aired a scathing documentary of Nigerian swindlers some months back, and now, with this airing of the disgraceful montage, has only dealt an international blow to the image of Nigeria. Even if it was ignored by the foreign media, Patricia Etteh should be jailed!

Let's wait till she is prove innocent or otherwise. But my major concern is HER War front  Fighter(Mike Tyson)- Dino Melaiye-her Chairfighter on Information and disreorientation,Representing my Constituency in Kogi State(Ijumu/kabba/bunu). I cant remember if that is what we sent him to do.Anyway He's probably  fighting for his position but he should please do things gentlemanly and with caution- for whatever he does reflects on US-his constituency. PEACE OUT!!!!!

i have noticed that there is more response from guys on this topic. man or woman, we are all human beings.now because a woman is in the eye of the storm she should be crucified. if investigations can be carried out on the people pointing accusing fingers on etteh, we will discover that they are even worse off, it's just that they are real crooks that have learnt how to cover up their tracks. they are only fighting for their selfish interests, if you think they care anything about you, then you are a big joker.

The worst is yet to happen, this is just the beginning because what you use against others shall be used against you as well! Tongue Lips sealed Cry Shocked Cool

The issue is what is the acting IGP Mike OKIRO doing about this assault,  somebody should be arrested and charge.  A crime or an assault has been committed in this case and several participants should be charged.

You might disagree with the proceedings but you can't be attacking or assaulting people the law is there to protect people for a reason.

When did one person start representing a tribe? Haven't you read what yorubas are saying about Etteh, even on this forum? You must have a very low opinion of the yorubas to think they'll engage in a battle of wits with you. Don't be ignorant all your life. . . take a day off! Gather your wits and rethink your strategy.

She is a disgrace to women fold likewise the LIONS in the house of rep.
Infact, these pp should be taking to Psychiatry hospital for examination, they are not fit to be National figure
The scene in the house over someone to be thrown out instantly mean a NATIONAL DISFIGURE and DENT.

As for the Ettehgate, look more deeply, you will see that Dabiri and her camp have a hand in this problem. What we see is a re-play of the Anambra saga that involved Ngige and those who put him into power in order to furnish their self interests. The real issue is that the 648 million Naira was not shared amongst these "power brokers", hence, they are screaming blue murder where there is really no case.

I strongly believe it was a set up. Why! All these while there had been there ''people'' at the helm of affairs, there has not been these figures for renovation and they have been renovating, but now, that she is there and they seems not getting their ''kickback'' they are crying blue murder.

Only God will save Naija from these claws.

Whether it was a setup or not, what that woman, Patricia Etteh did was wrong and she should be jailed, along with her accomplice. Lets quit making her a scape goat of other politicans who have gotten away with it. Prior to this scandal, nobody was implicated in a renovation scandal (or even flying out to America for a birthday celebration), so, Patricia Etteh should be sacked and jailed.

being a hair dresser does not make u ineligible for office. u guys need to go and find out what the criteria is for this office. All said, the woman should be sent home without further delay and dealt with accordingly.

liftedme, leave the yoruba out of this. if etteh has done wrong, let the appropriate quarters deal with that. and she did not do whatever she is alleged to have done in the name of yoruba. everyman's actions speak for himself and not his tribe, even if he is a rep.
