realistically tho, mode 9 is more lyrical than ruggedman maybe bcoz thats mode9's style.
ruggedman on the other hand is getting paid for what he does, so shove it. u dont need 3 awards to get paid in naija,

I like the simple question, let me put it like this,
If this were to be the american industry, modenine would be Nas and Rugged would be Jay z.
Rugged combines good lyrics with flair Modenine ain't got any little bit of flair. Mode is obviously the most talented rapper we've ever had. He raps for the educated forget the club-bangers. For the young industry we have in Nigeria, he is not what we need right now. We need people that will get the average nigerian falll in love with the genre before we begin to go in that direction.
Modenine, raps for the informed section of the poulace, that is already too hard core for most nigerians. Jay converted his style and so did rugged to get accepted by everyone. even chicks listen to rugged.(Dance Omotola Feat Rugged).
