Called the helpline on my way to work this morning, and the only thing the lady could muttered out was some incoherent stuff i.e "they are working, materials is here from france, by this weekend, it will come up". the issue is that if you call the line a moment later, another person will tell you another story (disorganised people!).
@Damoche, ok idea, but would they listen?, anyhow lets try and see.

Sorry guys, not so good news from their side.
Called the helpline couple of minutes ago and was told the parts brought in from France are not fitting in and therefore has to be returned. They hope to get another before the week runs out (i doubt!).
So, for now the waiting game continues!.
@ayusmans, i believe our plan for them at the end of this month will still hold, they are just a bunch of liars!.
@urfriend & Damoche, the guys you are holding brief for are not doing you any good.

Nice job calling their helpline. Don't even know what to do again, I can't imagine that excuse of the part not fitting well. Abi them wan use style phase out the cable option? No apologies till now from them (even though they claimed to have done that).
Maybe would give u a call later to discuss on the next step of action.

I just asked the installer to change the settings to satallite. today, though fewer channels are availabe for now, I will probably go back to terrestial once it's back on air. Tired of their tommorow-tommorow antics.

Have just called them now again and the girl was murmuring inchoherently about coming to the office to get an installer or something before the line went off. Am just confused on what to do? There would have been much more noise and trouble made concerning it and the competition would have hinted that in some of their adverts.
If everyone facing that repeater station is having the problems then its sad

No time to spare and go to their office. Had to depend on calling their helpline most time of which it's not helping matters. They actually confirmed the problem but no solution just yet. Funny thing is that their insider aint saying anything again but would only rear their heads when they add another channels. Well, have accepted my fate but hope that a miracle would happen because that's what they need now!  |

I can confirm to you that every subsciber getting signal from Ikeja is off for a month+ now, so is not peculiar to ayusman.
They are having problem in repairing the transmitter that got spoilt after a very heavy downpour, probably due to the fact that the technology is relatively new in this part of the world.
We hope they will be able to resolve it soonest.

Just called their helpline and the info gotten was that; they are still trying to get d guys from France to come and fix the probs in Naija and can't seems to give a turnaround time but hopefully before the end of the year.

Hi my guy,
Actually i was also thinking that i will need another dish to convert to sat., amazingly the guy still used the same cable dish, all he did was to turn it upside down ( i was not at home when he did it) and like my wife said, he did some initial setting on the cable, before coming to reprogram the decoder for the satallite signal.
The guy's name is Dominic and his mobile no is 08033659057.
I paid him just 2k.
We agreed that he will revert it back to the cable platform once that's ok.

From the thread this discussion is taking, i perceive that there is no hope for NEW channels on the satelitte package?
To the insider:
Whats going on, How come the satellite subscribers have only 13 channels and the Cable Subscribers have the complete 23?
It is WRONG, Hope they will refund or pro rata our subscription based on their failed promise.
REMEMBER, there is also the LEGAL aspect of this issue.
A WORD IS ENOUGH, spread the word, let the TOP/MANAGEMENT guys hear my WARNING!!!
There is a limit to th patience one can tolerate.

@Iugunboy Fortunately, i didnt spoil any. I can bold say that am one of the very good guys in lag . Seriously, i do envy my colleagues who are married and ar proud of it. No wahala, as long as she's of good xter, charming, God fearing not neccessarily over religious, intelligent and above all sweet and caring. Only a good girl would deserve a good guy like me and lastly, she must not be more than 27yr. Only an angel would have these qualities in Lagos abi? God is a good God! |
