No it wont work, surgery is your only option. Whatever remedy you use may only serve to delay the inevitable, better to do the surgery earlier before the cattaract takes your eyesight completely.

Pls I'd advise you to consult a specialist. Surgery may be your only option (probably a lens transplant)

 No.

You shouldn't be putting chemicals in your eyes for crying out loud!!

As for vitamin supplements & minerals, they are of use only to help with good vision-completely & utterly useless once you've had cataract which is a "clouding of your eye lens".

That can only be corrected through surgery.

You don't need to be afraid-in good hands it is a simple, straightforward & harmless operation which is usually done under local anaesthesia! in other words you dont have to be put to sleep( if thats what you're worried about) & you can actually be talking to your doctor & the nurses while it is being done!!

I must ask here though that have you been tested & it was confirmed that you have cataracts? if so,im surprised your doctor did not make it clear to you that if you wanted to have it removed,it'll have to be by surgery.Unless of course if you didnt express your fears to him or her.

So take heart my dear-it really is nothing to be afraid of.Most eye surgeons have done hundreds before being qualified.I would advise you go to a good centre with reputable opthalmologists to have the procedure done if you wish to proceed.

All the best.
