Bombastic of Grandiloquent

For those of use that are verbally verbose, this is a good thread to show off. I like big and high sounding words. Please post your bombastic words or sayings below and don't forget to immediate follow it with it's meaning in simpler english. I start off like this:

It can be no other than a maleficent horizontally propelled current of gaseous matter whose propentous advent is not the harbinger of a modicum of beneficence.


Meaning: It is an ill-wind that blows nobody any good  Grin

 I wented to collected my COLLECTED POEMS to acclimatised with the oblaganta to neccesitate the immidiate and futurial testual agreement with the lexicon.

and about the nod and wink at the blind horse men i was left clueless i was like what? there was no indication of that in the phrase. men why do peopl have to make lives so hard. but good posting guys...
