Ever Slept With A Guy And He Just Disappeared?
« on: September 26, 2007, 03:04 PM »

Have you ever slept with a guy very quickly after meeting him, but as it started to happen you got that sinking feeling in your stomach? You knew it was a mistake, but you did it anyway. And then the thing you KNEW would happen actually happened: He unexplainably disappeared from your life. Honestly, have you ever had this happen?

Of course, the worst part wasn't that it happened, but that you KNEW you shouldn't have done it in the first place,  but you did it anyway

just wanna ask all the ladies in da house

Are you talking from experience? The guy must be a smart dog. One thing I have lernt in life is that good girls (Ladied) ends up dating bad guys.

@ Poster

So sorry, guess that'll make you more cautious.

I often wonder too, do you know why this is so?

desgiezd,

I have been trying to know how it happens like this. Most of the good girls I know are in wrong hands and if you see how these guys treat them,

chistiana,

It's good to look before you leap. Be careful in the future for the mistake not to repeat itself.

One problem with girls is that when they see a dangerous pit right in front of them; they would ignore it and walk right into that pit.

If you’re in a relationship with someone that your emotion isn’t comfortable with; then quit. It’s for your own good; don’t just punish yourself all in the name of unnecessary pleasure.

Next time when you're no longer enjoying sex, you should simply quit.
Don't make any sacrifices in the bedroom.  Please and be pleased, and have no regrets. Wink

It happened to me in uni. It's very embarrassing but you learn your lesson and whenever you commence a liaison with the opposite sex, you assess the risk. Beyond all that though, you move on with your life. Never mind, the sinking feeling will pass. A friend of mine always used to say, it's one of those things. And it is.

No, that has never happend to me.
But I've met someone that made my heart totally sink. I was so so scared that when he said we should hang out, I chose a Zoo!
That wasn't in Lagos. At least, I knew we couldn't get silly in a zoo.
Big gist, he's disappeared ever since. Sent me a mail that he was in the UK for a 3 month program. It's been 2 years now, and the 3 month program still hasn't ended!
Glad I didn't do it, but maybe, just maybe,  if the monkeys and tigers weren't looking,  who knows, NO, I refuse to think about it!

Sometimes, we do certain things by the way we feel at the moment,

but it later dawns on us that we took a wrong decision. So Christiana

shake it off and move on.

why do we attach so much importance to sex, to me it is just a way of expressing yourself? I dont think you need to regret your action afterall you did enjoy it while it lasted.

Am so sorry that it happened to you. Its so painful, am  speaking from experience and when i mean experience mine happened my very first time!!!!!!!!! Babes, i cannot really say if i have forgiven him or not. I was down for a month or two. I completely understand your pain but don't fret, get over it quickly there are still some good guys out there not all of them are MORONS like the guy ok. Its called HIT AND RUN its a silly game some immature guys play.

When it comes to matters of the heart there is no formular, you just follow your heart and use your head to an extent. The use of the head/heart in excess will both lead to HEARTACHE so try to blend both. You will heal ok. Cheer up and go catch the true guy!!!!!!!!!!!

S-H-I-T happens! Move on with your life and don't attach too much importance to it. Like someone rightfully said --it's one of those things. I suggest you  try a little research on why guys disappear after sex, especially if it wasn't meant to be a one night stand. . . It could be something you said or did before, during or after the sex. This will go a long way to help you in your next relationship. Good luck.
