Normal Or Abnormal Substance From The Vagina

There is this substance that normally come out in the vagina either white or colourless and sometimes smells bad.I want to know if it is normal or abnormal.

 Sounds like it might be BV- bacterial vaginosis. It is quite common in women & really does not cause any serious problems or complications(well,at least not if you are pregnant at the same time anyway).

But of course,you NEED to have a diagnosis- a high vaginal swab at the lab or at your doctor's should tell you what it is & the right treatment prescribed for you.

In terms of what to do in the meantime,or to prevent recurrence, the DONTS are:
Do not douche
Do not use perfumes,bubble baths,soaps or any other chemicals in that area

What happens is that if you do the above,it changes the environment of the normal vaginal flora & allows the organisms which cause that smelly odorous discharge to grow & proliferate

You have heard it all.Go see your Dr and perhaps, do a HVS.

Every woman has a normal vaginal discharge,which is scanty,perhaps a bit whitish,but mostly colourless.This is the normal healthy vaginal secretions.It should not have an offensive smell,rather it should have the natural musky smell of the vagina.So if you have a discharge that is coloured,say yellow,brown or even blood stained,OR a discharge that is offensive,then something is wrong.You should go see your Physician.
