my phone nokia 3100 is connected to mtn gprs and I browse with it everyday since august 2005. But as u might know the phone has no infra red or bluetooth. My question is whether I can connect this phone with its PC cable to my PC and browse with it.

Sure u can! Via your USB port on your PC. Note some softwares might not be compatible with Windows 98. and others but i think Xp is generally Compatible.  AbujaBoy are u sure you are in the right place?obiviously you didn't stay in school long enough to grab the basic rudiments of moral education. Well, some people go through their entire lives without any knowledge of morals. Scums like you are a bit hard to find. |

all u need nokia guy is to get the latest version of pc suite get your phone connnected to the system after installing the pc suite, also u will need to configure your phone as a modem its very important, on the available links u'll see connect to internet den do the manual configuration. thats entering your access point, username and password

 I use a 6880 nokia brand with software with a Windows Vista to browse. You can use any network of your choice that suits you though. Upgrades and the signal matter, so best be prepared. The only drawback I see however, is that the weather conditions(rain) can make these networks to cease sometimes, so be prepared, and enjoy your browsing!!!
