I don't think it means that all Igbos have Jewish ancestry, they are no means the only Africans to claim Jewish links, the Lemba tribe also mad such claims which because of how they look, were continually ignored as false, until they had DNA testing which revealed that some of their number (the Buba clan) had migrated from Sena in the Middle East and indeed have Jewish ancestry. I think instead of debating, someone should conduct a DNA study.
At the end of the day, we are Igbo and Nigerian full stop, but should we not also find out about our migratory origins, whatever they may be?

In Olaudah Equiano's autobiography he described life in 16th century Igbo village and many of the cultural aspects and the way things were done closely resembled the Jewish way of life.
Here is a brief extract from his book:
