Smes Special Opportunity.
« on: October 08, 2007, 10:20 AM »

Hello nairalanders and SME interests watch out or this one:

From Monday October 8, 2007,  expect media announcements on ASPIRE NIGERIA FUND, a special fund floated jointly by Shell, Diamond Bank Plc and Grofin of South Africa. A $30m fund that will serve as a catalyst for the development and growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.

Specifically, the Fund will enable deserving SME operators to receive financial support for growing their business operations and also provide business development assistance. It will seek to reach Nigerian enterprises that would otherwise find it difficult to meet the conditions for business financing from regular financial institutions.

ASPRIE NIGERIA FUND, now fully operational will be managed by GroFin Nigeria on behalf of the Partners.

This is an opportunity i hope 'naija factor' would not hijack.

Kind regards,
namdo
