I am a Licenced Customs Clearing Agent and i will be glad to help you clear them at the Nigerian ports.

i wish to enquire. can you facilitate the purchase of a car at the port? particularly of the stock of seized vehicles which are periodically auctioned at the ports?

hailolive, i will charge ------- for the 03 camry. If its on the sea already then let me have a copy of the BL before the ship berths.

I cannot facilitate the purchase of a cars through custom auction. Most times the first people to hear about auction are car dealers that can bid for large quantities of cars.
If i hear about any auction, i will let you know.

Adexfem,

I have a question for you. Now that they are talking about uniform tarriff (what I understand is that clearing older cars will become more expensive), is it still advisable to bring in older cars say 2000 - 2005?

Are they really going to strictly compute duty based on the invoice price of the car or things will go on as usual?

Cheers.

Eluala, you can bring any car of your choice, government policies are dynamic but as for now things still remain the same. The uniform duty has not taken effect.
Offcourse the customs will never use your invoice, they have a universally accepted standard value for all vehicles.
Except you are bringing a brand new car, then your duty will be confirmed by the inspection agents that issues RAR.

Thanks.
