I don't think the 30 shortlisting really means anything, but the final three.
Players like marquez and Eto'o hide under the influence of playing for Barca, because they didn't give their best peerfomance last season. Eto'o was injured for most of last season adn he was fit he played nothing.
VIDIC should have been selected ahead of Thuram but compare serbia to france, TOURE should have even be better of.
It all has to do with the delagates who nominated them. KAKA rules
