I have always got a running nose for like six years now slightly after coming to the UK and its bothering me very much. I've been to the doctor but all they have been giving me ain't working. Does anyone know any other solution to this problem of mine? it really bothers me. I mean i always have to make sure i've got tissues in my pocket, which is bad
I am waiting people for your suggestions

Couple of questions, does it occur all the time?? Is it worse on waking up, being exposed to strong smells, changes in temperature and worse at any particular time of year??
If yes then it is likely to be allergic perennial rhinitis. I also suffer fromthe same condition and it also arose shortly after arising in the UK. I always put it down to a summer cold as it was present most visibly in the summer but was also presetn in winter. You can try a steroid contaiing nasal spray which is the most helpful thing. You can also try anti-histamine sprays but they are not often as effective.

@soulful. Yes it does happen all the time expecially in the winter period. No its not worse when i wake up. Yes change in temperature does trigger it. The doctor gave me a spray called NASONEX NAXAL SPRAY and SUDAFED TABLETS, but it never proved to be working and i have to wait a while before i go back to see the doctor to refer me to the specialist because i'm on my placement year in France and medication is not free here. I would make sure i get my hands on Anti-histamine spray maybe it might work for me. Thank you
I just don't know what triggered it shortly after arriving in the UK

@babwilms, apart from change of environment, the most likely cause is your low immunity, I have a lot of friends who are citizens in Europe and the US, yet they suffered from this ailment particularly during winter but to God be the glory, since they have been on Tahitian Noni Juice, their story has changed permanently. Give it a try and you will be grateful, happy and healthy. visit my website http://tni.com/2151682 to buy a 1-litre bottle at retail price.

@ Lavoisier Please post the info of the natural products that solved your brother's problem here so that every Nairalander will know, learn or discuss about it. @ Babwilms Your problem could be Chronic Sinusitis. The following link will educate you more about runny nose. http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/sym/runny_nose.htmI looked at the website of TAHITIAN NONI and did not understand why their company or office address (an identifiable physical address) is not there. If I were you, I won't have anything to do with the TAHITIAN NONI Juice. Brother, shine your eyes very well. A lot of things are happening on the Internet.

Try combining medications. I have a similar problem, I recently went to a specialist for this & now I'm taking Clarenex D (a miracle drug, much more effective than claritin), Nasonex, an antihistamine nasal spray (astilin), and singulair. The combination works well for me. The other thing is that cold weather will often make your nose run, if this is just problem outside and/or in the winter that probably all it is.
