baba ijebu is not igbo, its yoruba.
baba means father (or elderly man) and ijebu is a town in western Nigeria (yorubaland)
so, babaijebu essentially means "elderly man from ijebu"

Not Igbo myself, but I think "Obi" means king?
And as Arnold said, BabaIjebu is a Yoruba term.

"Obi" has more than one meaning in igbo depending on the tone.
Possible meanings are:
Man
Palace
Heart
King (for Onitsha Igbo)

I think "obi" can also mean family. Its meanin' is really complicated. obi is part of my brother's name and accordin' to my parents, it means family . . . .
