Career In Information Technology Or ACCA Certification?

Hi every body i really need your advise so i can move on with my life.the story goes thus:

i am a graduate of mathematics with statistics from the univ of ibadan.i use to work witrh naira.com limited an IT firm that deals in broadband wireless internet service.i went for my NYSC orientation camp some weeks ago,my dad helped me in getting a job in ernst and young nigeria now i am confused if i shuld remain in the IT world by starting out  some certification exams or start doing ACCA which initially i wanted to do before i graduated?

Please advise me honestly.  Thanks.

why not run both concurrently? But then a wud of advise its better to opt for an IT certification cos they r rather hot in the mkt right now!

thats true, run both concurrently- it'll give you an edge. i know a guy who is currently an aca and has ocp(oracle 9i) and he's about graduating (Bsc Busines Admin). It is possible.

Stick with what you're best at and love more,  because you'll find fulfillment doing what you love and are more likely to progress faster! Goodluck!

i don't support that you Should run bOth courses conCurrently.i will advice that you folloe your mind,chk the area you are most passionate about and build a career along that line.

y uncle is a senior manager wit ernst and young and i must tell u, been chartered isn't d end but if you are good at watever u choose!!d sky is d bginning for u.
