Ladies, if you find yourself in this kind of situation, what are you going to do? Men, feel free to contribute. You met this handsome young man and after the necessary necessities, you started dating. You were so close and the relationship got deeper, for you it’s him or no other. Sometime while you were having intimate talks, he told you about his past. He said he was formerly an armed-robber before he repented and started a new life. You were shocked at first but you said "oh well, that’s now in the past. Thank God you are now a responsible young man." Months later, he proposed marriage and with tears in your eyes you accepted because he is truly the love of your life and you would be more than happy to marry him. Then the time came to introduce each other to your families. He took you to his family members and they welcomed you with open arms. Meanwhile, some years back, armed-robbers came to your house and the kingpin shot your Mum dead and shot your Dad in the leg, leaving him paralysed till today. So you took your fiancé to your father and siblings for introduction, only for your father to recognise him as the man who shot your Mum and him. Now the boy is begging you to forgive him and forget about the past and carry on with the marriage. Will you forgive him? Will you still marry him? Remember he has changed totally and you love him in a way you have never loved any man before. Disclaimer: This did not happen to me or anybody I know. It is just a story. So don’t start saying "Skidoc, she must never forgive you". Infact if you put my name in it, you will be suspended for 38 hours.

My dad was assasinated and i was just 2 months old as of then. I not only found out his killers, but would have killed them one by one without any remorse but they were already dead by the time i was ready for them. If i found myself in this situation, it will be of no consequence, i will not only kill the dude, but i will also not forgive him. I no go gree, lai lai.

Since this is just a story. She tells the man that she'll go ahead with the marriage, and let bygone be bygone. But then she gradually poisons the man to death with doses of cyanide. And visits mum's grave with a bunch of fresh roses to let her know her death has been vanquished. Good story ending.

@Rhodalyn, I admire your strength and forgiving nature, but me? Waiting to poison the boy with cyanide is too longggg, with one swift action his head will be lying in front of me, thats more like it!

Quite frankly the scenario you have described is just too far fetched and ridiculous. And what kind of responses did you expect from such a ridiculous story?
I can only assume that Rhodlyn is being sarcastic in her response. Either that or she has a screw loose.

How could you possibly live under the same roof with the person that sent your parents to their graves knowing that he or she did it? How could you even consider making such a slimeball your spouse? I will only marry such a person so I can lace her/ his food with cyanide so the individual can die a slow and tortuous death.

I won't even dream of forgiving such.FORGIVE?HELL NO!!!When i know its possible one or more of my kids may have the robbery tendencies and probably end up shooting the two of us.Even if that won't happen that relationship/love would dissipate fast.

It would be a great dishonour to my parents memory. What would i tell my kids when they ask about their grandparents? As far as am concerned what goes around comes around.I don't want to be a part of the inevitably boomerang or when our son shoots his girlfriend's parent unknowingly.I might even get him arrested,he has to pay some way.

i think he'd be very stupid to expect forgiveness i don't think i will have the patience to use cyanide it will have to mercury poisoning not too slow but still very painful. @ Skidoc ever heard the phrase there's a thin line between love and hate. That love will turn to pure unadulterated hatred once i know

Guys and gals Remember . ' To forgive is divine' Forgiveness goes with forgetting You may forgive but will you ever forget ? PS: Did the guy ever mentioned his past to you ? If a guy loves a girl for real There should be nothing hidden Let her know about your past , No matter how rotten it was If the girl knew about his past Then , sure thing She might forgive and forget & when all formalities are carried out Sings *** Here comes the bride*** ***here comes the , **** **** Here comes the , damn , armed robber*** na hard thing o I don't think it would be best to carry on with the marriage unless God said so , It is best to keep being friends ,,, VERY GOOD FRIENDS

Forgive? perhaps. Forget? Never.
Marry? what kind of question is that.
true that, you may love him but once i found out that he was the one that caused my mother to cease her life and for me never to see her motherly smile again, the love i had for him would quickly turn to remorse and disgust.
