hi all

please i'D like to know all the causes of itching of the nipples

lets learn from one another

why does the nipple itch sometimes

is it healthy

lets hear ur views people

Check first to eliminate these:
Clothing irritation
Bra irritation
Soap allergy
Perfume allergy
Allergy to laundry detergent

Then Check for these (see your MD at this point):
Nipple rash
Eczema
Fungal infection

And hopefully, not these:
Hormone replacement therapy
Paget's disease
Breast cancer

awesome web123, I totally agree.

The nipple, like the skin is not supposed to itch. Is the poster breast feeding? If yes, it might be candida from the baby's mouth- normal, but the itch may need treatment.
