what type of contact do you need?am not in ghana but i know lots of nigerians there.would you be going by road or air?looking for where to stay while there or people to help you find your way around the city?how long do you intend staying?what precisely would your research entail?your answers would determine how far i can help you?but one thing is clear dear bros,ghana is not too an expensive place to go,don't be scared,cost of living is not too high there to compare with niaja.lol

ok atleast now i know where i can start from.as it is now,you would never be able to get an accomdation for one month but i know there are HOSTELS in accra where people stay and pay daily or weekly and its very affordable too.one of such hostels is the YWCA HOSTEL AT ADABRAKA,ACCRA.its basically two types,one is a room with 3 beds shared by 3 people while d other is just like a dormitory ie one bi g hall with lots of bed and people.the one of a room with 3 people i think its better.you have the basic facilites too(water,shower,light and even tv)that one costs 20,000 cedis daily(old currency)or 2,000(new currency)and thats about 300 naira daily.you would see and get help from nigerians at NIGERIAN STATION TUDU,ACCRA TOO.please be extremly careful too.the hostel is good BUT never leave money,phone or other important belongings there(even your passport).if you MUST leave such things,then hand it over to the authorities there.do feel free to ask more questions ok.
