Hello all,

Please somebody help me!

I bought HP Pavillion Laptop Dv6536en Last week only to discover that the ISP card is not compatible with what is available now  from starcomm ,  multilinks etc. The card slot is in L shape why the available card is in square form. And i do not want to go for dial up + modem of a thing.

Somebody please help.

guy try and paste pics here because a pcmcia slot is a pcmcia slot so all this one u're talking l-shaped and square shaped is another language, dos the laptop u bought have a pcmcia slot or not? if it does the card will enter,

There are actually two types of PCMCIA card slots.
DV6536 comes with type-1 PCMCIA slot while Starcomms requires type-2.

what u need to solve your problem is a pcmcia adapter,in wich u wil insert ur starcomm modem card, and insert the combination of the adapter and ur starcomm modem into ur newly acquired lappy.

U can easily source for the adapter at Otigba computer market at Ikeja.

But if u find it difficult to get adapter @ ikeja, u can get in touch wit Mr Femi Amoda on
mobile number 07028372484, he has the adapter in stock.

Hope this wil resolve ur problem
