My point is this. If you can not counter his arguement SCIENTIFICALLY, all you have to offer him is the same old Stuff he has, I believe heard for decades and decades but has also had to deal with the conflicting reality of things when it comes to the intelligence of the Black man. I am a full blooded african and even I know we africans have made way too many mistakes for us to even open mouth to try to refute such claims without something solid to go with.
From where I stand, we ( Africans ) have provided people like Watson with enough AMMO for him to come up with such statements be it from prolonged study of africans or just personal conclusion. I mean how do you want to tell him he is wrong?? By telling him that one black slave made so many products from peanuts about 100 or more years ago even though today we have chaos and hunger all over Africa today?
Unless you are a better intellectual than he is, I doubt you can CONVINCE him any other way, but to show him how intelligent Africans really are and showing him one or two successful black men is not going to do the trick. While it is difficult to accept or fathom such a statement on the whole black race, and I know for sure that there are very intelligent black people, have you ever stopped to wonder why it is difficult to find a prosperous black country? Not every black person is a descendant of slaves and many in Africa are definitely not! It is a food for thought for me and I never stop wondering as the colour of skin to me is just pigmentation to be able to live comfortably in our environment. So what is our problem?

Slavery was based on baseless unproven "scientific" mombo jumbo among other things, including that the black brain is smaller. Also I feel like most Nigerians are even more angry because he first said Africans. I do agree that the African government are greedy and people in authoritative positions tend to be thirsty as hell, we can't just sit back and pretend like corruption is not everywhere. It has been the Western (White people) culture to over emphasize anything black and twist it into ugliness. His scientific claim is not new its just an old argument polished. I am doing something about my state of hopelessness. -- this says it all. You know it's a little difficult to think straight when one suffers from a syndrome known as Hopelessness. @BigB1, You ain't seen nothing yet. This man is clueless, always beating about the bush and never making sense. He starts by claiming the man based his statement on science and advised people who do not share that view to go into research. When other scientists made it clear that the statement is baseless and devoid of any scientific study he turns around and now claims the man must have noticed what he stated. A question was put forward as regards whether he will go and do research if someone calls his mother a fool and his very surprising answer was that he will ignore the person because he knows his mother is not a fool. I wonder how one person will agree with the position that Black people are stupid and yet state that his mother is not stupid or a fool. Another moron here believes that the man only aired his opinion but will come down heavily on people that disagree with the man even when they are also airing their opinions, now the man has a small reason to make that statement going by the position of this moron. Bottomline is that quite a number of Africans have found themselves in difficult situations in real life and the only way they feel better is blame the race and accept that the Whites are better while the Blacks are stupid and funny enough almost 100% of the people with such twisted position reside in foreign lands and only God knows how low they effortlessly stoop to worship the Whites in their countries while trying to take out their frustrations on public discussion forums. |
