REOPENING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE 2008/2009 SESSION
The University of Nigeria has announced the following resumption dates for the different
categories of students.
1. Law Students: Saturday, 18th October, 2008
2. Freshmen/new students: Thursday, 23rd October, 2008
3. Returning/other students: Tuesday, 28th October, 2008
FINANCIAL INFORMATION (Accommodation and Registration)
a) Fresh Students
Acceptance fee scratch cards are already available at the designated banks and can
be obtained for the sum of N6,000.00. Students are to log on to www.unnportal.com
with JAMB Reg. No. and the PIN number of the acceptance fee and print their
admission slips.
They should thereafter on resumption, proceed to the Faculty Officer with their
original certificates for verification/clearance. Those who qualify will then continue
with payment of school fees on-line, application for accommodation and course
registration.
b) Other/Returning Students
On arrival returning students are expected to pay their fees on-line by obtaining fee
cards from the designated banks of their Faculties, logging in the fee with the pin
number of the card and printing their receipt. Thereafter, they can proceed to apply
for accommodation and course registration.
c) Designated Banks
Students are to note that scratch cards for all payments will be available in the
under-listed banks in Nsukka and Enugu for their respective faculties effective from
17th October, 2008.

ABA CAMPUS
First Year Students of Linguistics, Igbo and other Nigerian Languages will also
resume on 28th October, 2008.
They should however collect the scratch cards for payment of fees at the Bursar’s
Office, Aba Campus.
All students are reminded that payment to the bank and collection of scratch cards does not
amount to payment of fees. The cards must be logged on and receipts printed from the web
portal.
The University welcomes every student to a happy 2008/2009 session.
