My childhood crush would be Seyi , I can never forget his name, anyway sha we met in 1993 in CAC (I was about 7yrs then), him and other youth in the church, and we usually participate in most of the children activities in church, the feeling because us grew but neither us ever had the gut to tell each how we both feels, so after I got into secondary school I kind of moved on with my life so did he, lol I even joined the missionary department in church just to impress him, most people in church knew the feelings we have for each other  especially my cousins and aunty, but I couldn’t finish my secondary school in Naija because my parents thought it was the right thing to do by sending me aboard to live, so I left during my SS1, gosh I felt my love was stole away from me, I begged my parent to allow me to finish my school in Naija and after am done, then I will relocate. Well 2days before I left he asked me out and talked about the feelings he has for me, I cried because since the relationship wouldn’t be possible, then I notified him I was leaving, he felt feeble and hurt, and asked how long was I knewn that I would be leaving the country, to keep the story short I tried giving him a chance but it wasn’t working, and when I visited Naija 2003 we tried starting is all over but the feeling I had for him was gone, we even went together to  ISL prom (class of 2003) but that was all. It took him forever, and too bad have found the love of my life. He graduated from UNILAG early last year with a business degree, he was so fall, light skin, God fearing guy, has a very good paying job, comes from a well respectful family including rich lol, quite, outgoing and  he was every girls dream, anyway woman he marry should be happy. I guess our destiny were not meant to be, but I thank God for giving me the best gift ever, my one and only hubby that completes me.

The name of my childhood crush was Ada Kalu.
We were then living at Akerele Street,Bodija,Ibadan.
She was about 5 years old and I was about 9 years old.
She was very pretty and she taught me about sex .
That is why I cannot forget her .She had a senior sister known as Ndo Kalu.
Ndo too tried to put my kini into her hole but we were prevented from doing it by their half brother who wanted a piece of the action.
The family left for the east during the Nigerian civil war and I never heard of them again since.
We too packed away from the area.

Imagine when I was about 52 years and I was managing in a face-to-face room in Lagos.
I heard some knocks on my door one morning and upon opening the door what did I saw,hey presto ,I saw a 7 years old son of my neighbour putting his kini inside the toto of the landlord's 5 years old girl and using my curtain to pretend as if they are playing the Boju-Boju play of the youruba kids.
Immediately I remember my own Ada Kalu of 1963 and I did not tell their parents because I was equally guilty of the same when I was a child.

I had a crush on an older girl that virtually ripped my heart out. I did most of the bad things I did in school for her benefit and what does that fetch me? Flunked WAEC! Silver lining is she made me a deeper person with all the poems I wrote. And I picked up basketball because of her. A lot of great things I might not have done.

I saw her like a year ago and I'm wonderinng what I saw in her in the first place!

If I could turn back the hands of time, I wouldn't because love sucks! At least when it ain't returned!

love this thread. i've been laughing all along.

well, i had a childhood crush on a boy in my primary school. his name is sope. he's half phillipine, half yoruba. we used to look at ourselves across the games field and smile at each other. he even promised me once in class that i'll be his girlfriend. that was what i thought about throughout that day.

i've not seen him since after primary school and obviously, the feelings have died but it would be nice to see him again.

If she had returned the love, you probably would have wanted to turn the hands of time. Well shit happens.

Hey Nairalanders! Top of the day to you peeps. Just got a little time off work and would like to share my childhood crushes. I had my fair share of crushes back then so let's take this one after the other:

Pry 6: There was a guy, Seun Adebowale who came to join my class back then from one school out of the country and boy was he cuuuute! He'd had this cute British accent, dimples and sexy eyeballs!!! I pallied his sister just to get close to him but I never got the nerves to tell him how I felt so the best we ever got to be was friends and seat-mates. Can still remember what he looks like after all these years! Lost touch with him because I later left the country myself.

Form 1:There was Yinka Balogun a very cute guy, too. Bad thing though was that he was going out with my best friend back then who incidentally was also my name-sake. So he was a no-go area for me. Never told him how I felt and painfully I found myself back then settling issues for them anytime they had their several lovers' tiffs!!! Lost touch with both of them when I also left the country.

Jnr High:There was Babaur in my class then from Pakistan or something and everyone teased us both to death about each other but we never took it beyond been just friends, again!!!

Snr High:Carl a guy in my 10th grade class from Canada and I used to stare at him all the time because by now all these unreturned love vibes were starting to get to me. I guess he knew how I felt because he was always looking at me, too but he was soooo shy. All his friends had steadies back then but till he left to go back to his country mid-session, he never asked me or anybody else out. Always wondered what was up with him though because he was a really dishy guy.

College:This guy followed his cousin to my room just as I was settling down on campus and I had an instant crush on him because he was damn fine and sexy. Though it was his cousin who was actually making a play at me and he only came along with him for the normal guy-support, we clicked better. We found ourselves talking for hours on end and forgot there was anybody else in the room(i.e my room-mate, his cousin). We took it from there and we got married 7 years ago and we have 4 kids now!!! So you see my final crush didn't go un-noticed!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

But the strangest and deepest one I felt was for my AUNT. I just wanted to be with her and do all the sweet stuffs a guy does to a lady with her.

She was about 15years older than I was then.

You don't have to ask me. . . . . . . never had the priviledge of realising my crush Sad Cry

Oh my my mine!! Yemisi Majekodunmi is it. We were together in pry 5. I did everything possible to get her attention: because of her, I started dressing neatly, you know the school prefect type; well gaitored shirt & short, I started going to school with a comb, would put my moma's lotus body crean in a tin of ''RUBB'', etc When she did not get d message, I planned a new strategy for the following term. Unfortunately, I had to leave that school for another. That ended the crush. That was a long time ago
She should be married now.
That feeling can no longer be there. If I see her now, nothing will happen.
