Just make sure you you don't say anything too vulgar. Wink

Asfor me, I didn't really have any crush as a child. I mean as a child o. Wink

I guess not everyone's buying that.  There're still Homies in the States I could get in touch with to "cast" you  Smiley so, 'fess up.  Not as a child, but your teen.  It wasn't just being the celebrity (you know what I'm saying).

Mmmm

memories

Early Primary
Part1
Crushes were combined that is all my friends had a crush on the same guy, it was lighthearted fun! those days were priceless

Part2
My first crush in boarding school(primary) was the headboy. Just looking at him would make me swoon, well I found a fellow crushee and we would write lovenotes and all sorts of whatnots about him.
Till the day someone found those notes and they dropped the bombshell at dining
In my school then i was new and prefects sat at the head of the various dining tables and my crush was at the head of my table. Now when the notes were found another prefect thot it was his sister that wrote it. The sister denied it vehemently and had to mention that i had identical handwriting with hers except for the way we wrote a particular.

Thats how the Headboy himself walked over to me whilst everyone watched and asked whether i wrote it. To say I was mortified was an understatement Shocked

Part3
Next crush was cute new student , this time i kept my crush to myself. However there was this other girl who had made her crush on him very known so I just watched from the sidelines
Anyways she left the school Smiley
when i finally got the courage to tell him he said something about me being dark and in my naivety i asked my PE teacher who just passed the class door whilst we talked if I was dark. He just looked at both of us and shrugged his shoulders
It took a while before i realised that was racism. My crush was South african and I was one out of the only 2 black students in my school Sad

Secondary School
I had a crush on guy called Seun
I made a mistake of buying a val card from the class 'hussy' and then telling her who i was 'valing'
I didnt sign the card but she made sure he knew it was me

SS1- had a crush on on a boy named Bolaji he was dark and handsome, it was pretty much kept secret til i scribbled some stuff on my desk that didn tmake sense, my friend put 2n2 together and they never let me hear the last of it.
By then Bolaji and i were sitting together on the same desk because I moved from one side of class to the other because there was no space. Bolaji sat by the door so he could sneak out of class so I just moved to the space next to him
So by the time my friends found out they suspected i moved 'strategically'

In the end my moving let me know him better and we got along great, he would borrow my notes (even tho he would scribble all manner of stuff all over the back most esp about his crush over a half-caste chic in school)
later my class crush spread to other classes then i had another band of girls who told me to leave their friends BF alone. Apparently Bolaj was dating sum other chic down the corridor.
To be honest homelife wasnt the best for him and I really wished i cud help him, but we drifted apart over some misunderstanding
Even when i'D try to ask after him from classmates they would chide me about that crush eeeeeeeehn
soteeeeee I tire!!
In fact he coined the first shortform of my name, by the time the rest of the class found out I had atleast 10 versions and even till uni versions still continued

I'D really like to know where he is now

He had this beautifully cute moustache, perfect shade of dark skin Wink Kiss

that was my last crush

I had a crush on this little girl called Laide in Primary 2, she always had these cute dangling earrings that just blew me away. I was always so scared to go near her or talk to her. Unfortunately the day I summoned the guts to get near her and talk to her. . . I was hit by this pungent body odor, and the attraction died instantly on the spot.  Grin Grin

any Laide that went to Yewande Memorial School, some deodorant in pry school might have kept our love alive  Sad

he eventually knew l had a crush on him cause everywhere he was ,there l was too
l think l ended up being a nuisance cause he told me off!sad right?
l wish l could go back to those days!

bibi why are you so angry?

Even if you couldn't spell 'crush' or know the meaning of the word, looking back now with your knowledge of the word, it is fully plausible that you would be able to classify the emotions you experienced as a crush.

I don't think many people could spell malaria or chicken pox when they were little, does that mean they did not experience those ailments?

@ bibi

in that case you are long overdue for another visit to that shrink.  Wink

By the way, we are talking about childhood crushes here, so labeling it immoral is not appropriate

most of these things happened when sex and all that was not even on the radar, it was simply an intense liking that was felt.

besides who made you the judge anyways? If you don't like the posts, you can move on, no need to castigate them.

Nice Topic Though,

Anyway, I had a few crushes but these are some I can remember:

I had a crush on this girl when I was in Kindergaten, I was so crazy about her that I always talked about her, and every one in my family had to know and they teased me with it. I saw her recently and she is no longer the Kemi I used to know,

Another was on a girl when i was in Primary 3. I used to tail her all the way home, and always bought Ice cream from her mom just to see her face after school hours,

Later in J.S.S.3 I was crazy about one Ursula who left the school that year for FGGC Benin City, I don't know if she's here. Only God knows why i didn't become the George to that Ursula. I can still remember the last time we saw, during Holiday lessons i bought her popcorn with my mom's change , silly me

Theeeennnnn, I had a crush on this beautiful girl back then when i was 12.
Right from the first day I saw her, we were both in Boy Scouts then (Girls were in too).
Later on I had this feeling she had started going out with another guy who just joined our troop, though they were school mates. I did all crazy things like becoming the troop's Custodian just to find out her age, look at her passport photo and smile to myself when she's not there, know her full name e.t.c. And to my surprise she is the same age with me, just that am older with months.

Though we became close friends, we talk all dirty things, some people even thought I was already going out with her, but only a few of us knew I wasn't. but I just don't know how to tell her because that crush is still very much alive in me. We still communicate via phone and wish to see, because we are in different schools both in Nigeria. But i don't know what to do,  At least someone could help me out with some pieces of advice.

 This thread is really interesting.
I had this MASSIVE crush on some guy who used to stay down the road. He was kind of like my family friend and i attended the same secondary school with his younger sister. It was so bad that i used to pray my folks wouldn't come see me on visiting days so i could attach to his sister because he always came to see her on visiting days. Did i tell him?HuhHuh NO found out he liked my older cousin who used to live with me.I was really devastated. will i relieve those moments? Nop, heard alot of negative things about him+he live in the USA now.

Betty Cooper of Archie Comics was my Sweet Crush when I was young.

At first she was much older than I was.

She seems to have the magic for Age because I grew older but she never aged.

I still love her anyway.

I've met her twice -in my dreams
