Did anybody here applied for Diamond Bank - HO Pavillion Laptop Promo?
If yes, have you collected your laptop and how are you finding it?
For those of us who has not collected, whats the story and for how long now have you been waiting?
It was a good initiative and some other bank should follow in their tracks
I can't wait to collect mine!

No be small thing, since September, when them give me the offer letter, nothing has hapened.
They just promised again that by Friday, it will be made available, but really i don't think it is their fault - Park N shop is fully responsible for the shortage of the product.
I just hope i can have it buy Friday or worst, Monday as i am truely anticipating using the Laptop.
Try and go to the branch you applied from and get the latest advice from them, if we in Lagos gets ours on Friday, then maybe before the end of next week, you will get urs in PH

ave asked a couple of times and its always, this friday or thursday.
it just goes like that on and on. i had my hopes pretty high then, now,
its like its never going to come. i guess its not their fault, but i haven't bin so sure. would it take 2mths for park 'n' shop
to ship the product from whereever? i expected park 'n' shop to have atleast done xmas shopping
it just so complicated, but i hope to get it.
if u get yours on friday, i really hope u do, just give me a buzz.

Hey Bro,
Finally o, i got it on Friday morning, in its pack, clean like nothing i have experienced before (Laptop wise).
This laptop is a machine, anyway, it is really give me the extra edge with my Web Developer and Programming, but the only negative is the fact that my SQL is not working on Windows Vista.
I hope you get to collect yours soonest, its worth wait! Wella

u min it doesn't run sqlserver 2000 or or 2005?

Sorry to hear that you still have not collected yours.
It doesnt run SQL 2005 because it says it require service pack 2 which is suppose to b for Windows XP not Windows Vista.
Anyway, i am looking for a way to get SQL 2008 or Visual Studio 2008.
Let me know when you get it and if you have anything you want to talk about on it, always here
