This woman must be very powerful! How many threads do we have involving this "star witness"? Just for the records--I am for her. If she managed to get there in the first place, she should remain there. It is easier to remain there after getting there. So bury the matter! She ain't going nowhere as long as OBJ is alive and well! The hand that rocks the cradle------ AYE! --- Raising my leg up!

its obvious that madam speaker has very strong connections. she must have been highly connected to even occupy that sit. politics is politics, the game must play out and for now i think its her turn to be played. connections or none she has to vacate the seat. she can't stand as judge over her own case, its d voice of the average nigerian that counts here.
Etteh must go!!!!

If Nigeria must climb the 21st century and lead the black race to do same, we must as a matter of urgency solve the leadership questions of service, integrity, knowing what to do and how to do them. While Etteh may not be the problem, we should show zero tolerance for anyone who represents the past we should forget starting with anyone we find to have erred. For me, the argument is not just the cost of using 628m to build a paradise, it is what i will like to refer to as thought less process in decision making for an office as high as the National Assembly Speakership. Imagine Principal Officers sitting in their office and fixing 628m 0r 385m(imagine their defence) as contract sum without recourse to the process of awarding contrcts. For me Etteh is a heavy spender who may spend more on other luxuries. Remember the planned birthday bash in the US.

Lets call a spade a spade, she is guilty and she must go. What if it was someone else in The House that did the same thing, what would she do to that person? OBJ or NOT, she must go or else what happened to Abacha could happen to her because a lot of souls are hungry and crying for justice in this country! Lets remember how God took Abacha (He fought for Nigerians) and He is still on the throne.
Shalom! love ya alllll

Professionaly she is a beautician. What do you expect of her? Think of it, the cost of plaiting hair. If your wife or girlfie visit a salon, how much do you spend? Her profession is not economic at all and believe in looking good. She had believed that every body will understand her not knowing that all of us are not hair dresser. She should step aside before she give the next contract of artificial nails and weavon running into hundreds of millions of naira

my blames are not for the woman because 99.9999% of us will do more if are in her shoes but my blames go to the man they call obj for he has made nigeria his personal property otherwise nonentities will not have such boldness in a country of intellectuals. even if she must stay, we must ask obj to go. it is time for him to quit so that nigeria will move forward. obj the selector is the problem of nigeria for he has slected armed robbers to occupy all the relevant positions in nigeria.

For a diploma holder in hairdressing to have became the speaker of Nigeria's house or reps is a scam naturally. In a country where we have thousands of professors,it''s a shame! For the reps to have allowed a taciturn tyrant like Obasanjo to install her in their midst, they are zombies. For a woman like Ettheh to have desired a 98 million naira massaging machine for her flabby breast,it's utter madness. This is a country where millions goes to bed hungry! She wants to massage her stinking skin.God will punish her for trying to play on the intelligence of Nigerian. She will be impeached if she fails to resign dishonourably.Opening her laps for Obasanjo now won't help her.It only helped her before May,2007.I love women, but i hate Etteh with passion.

If only she could confess and mention the names of every other personnels involved in the menace, you'll be shocked to hear certain names. . If Etteh must go, then all her accomplices must go too.

ETTEH MUST STAY
THE SYSTEM THAT PRODUCE HER AND ALL THE OTHER MEMBERS MUST GO.
WHEN ETTEH GOES, GOD FORBID THE NEXT PERSON WILL JUST PERFECT HIS/HER ACTS PERIOD. HE/SHE WILL REHEARSE HER LINE VERY WELL AND NOT MAKE MISTAKES OF ETTEH
THE FIGURE WILL THEN BECOME N862MILLION AND NOT N628 AND HE/SHE WILL JUSTIFY IT AND THE HOUSE WILL PASS IT AND EVERYONE WILL HAVE GOTTEN/OR PROMISE THEIR SHARES. ONCE THE HOUSE VOTES FOR IT, THAT IS IT.
Nigerians in the majority are hypocrties, they cry hossanah today and tommorrow they cry crucify him.
Even Yar Adua is a product of Money politics. Etteh and others in the National Assembly and the Senate will propably be heavily indebted from the election or selection whatever you chooses to call it. The Natioanl Assembly is the national House of Comedians.
I have said it before I will say it again. Etteh is only 'guilty' of not using the 'standard' National Assembly formula for sharing the monies that is why all the noise from members who want their shares and some who wanted her position.
To think of N628 to renovate a property not even building is sheer madness. but a car that costs N10,000 once it got to the federal level will cost N100,000. It is only in Nigeria that second hand thing can sometimes be more expensive than brand new ones especially if given a fresh coat of paint.
For ETTEH to have thought about N628 million to renovate a building there are more people involve than they are shouting. She will have been reassured that such sum can be justified by her 'co-dishonourable members'
Maybe we should use ETTEH issue to dissect the whole jokes called National Assembly and the Senate. These are full time comedians, and Kung Fu/Boxing/taekwando experts being referred to as Honourable memebrs.
I don't know what is honourable in people that cannot fix health system that for a headache and cold/cough they will fly to Germany etc.
My suspicion is that this goverment look like is going to to sleep walk back into Pre-EFCC and i am afraid i can see another Shagari in the making. Even though Yar Adua is a far better person, but they (the 'Nigerian mafia') will grind him to a halt. The hand is that of Esau, but the voice is that of Jacob. Does AGF , Baba Kingibe comes to mind those are the people that may well replace Umar Dikko of Shagari era for those of you that are familiar with the second republic.
Anyway, that takes me to another point and i will like to say hello to OLOWO TEE and all the team in the 'prayer room'and will encourage everyone to pray for Nigeria for God to take complete and absolute control of all our leaders and use them for the upliftment of our country. For miracles to begin now. The miracle that is beyond human imagination and comprehesion to happen. So shall it be, so it is, in the name of our lord jesus christ. Amen.
PLEASE PRAY DAILY FOR OUR COUNTRY FOR GOD TO USE THE FOOLISH TO REFORM THE 'WISE'
May the Good Lord grant us knowledge, understanding and wisdom to continue to do good at all times.

Whether Etteh goes or Not, What will be will be! Let's forget the future of Nigeria been gone No be today such a thing don dey happen, Corruption is no longer a breaking news All our leaders need thorough cleansing from corruption!! when a tree is producing bad and bitter fruits then you should know that the tree itself is BAD! the idea of plucking the bad fruits from the tree would only proffer temporal solution! We need a total eradication of corruption in this Country, We need a revolution! We need a total Change. Let's call a spade a spade, Etteh is not the only problem. It's just so pathetic that ever since all these people resume office, they've got no other issue to solve, than to fight over the N628Million scam, and for how long are they going to do this? This Country. . . .We seek a better Nigeria!

Infact I'm ashamed and nearly too embarrassed that this is happening in my own dear Naija. So what will other naija guys abroad feel like doing? This is nothing other than yahoo-yahoo in executive/ legislative offices. They should all be ashamed of themselves, because they send the likes of Ribadu in pursuit of church rats while the real culprits are there with them in the luxurious quarters of Abuja. Can you imagine Such a big shame on the likes of OBJ! To even attempt to defend a corrupt officer is a shame on the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Thank God he's out of there. Good riddance to such hypocrisy, Nigerians now know better. He promised to step on toes but the only toes we saw him stepping on was the toes of innocent Nigerians who voted him in, expecting to recieve some empathy from the one who had been to prison once, but they say a leopard never changes its skin. Next time, people like OBJ should learn from our current and able President Yar' Adua. At the very least if you can't beat them and don't want to join them, then stay quiet. To the best of my understanding, it seems Aso Rocks hasn't heard of any 628 million naira scandal. Or the man, as I am beginning to think might have something up his sleeve, reserving his judgement for last. They say "the biggest masquerade shows up last." OR SO WE ALL HOPE !!! If Nigeria hasn't become a nation of "settle" your way to the top, then someone please get me enlightened! And we all expect the average "idiot" on uniform in our street to change ?? Maybe after the people in executive authority and legislative council have taken the lead. Abacha judgement may not be far off after all, lets just keep our fingers crossed. In case they think Nigerians will permit all this nonsense to happen with our hard earned money, they should have some re-think. Someone tell ettah, atteh or whatever her name, to stop disgracing this great nation. She should just pack her load and leave immediately. There's no room for hair dressers in our national assembly. We don't even want her resignation, she should just GOOOOOOO , , , , . . . GO! GO!! Go!!!
