Had A Bump On My Head On Hitting A Shelf, Help!

Hi house, have got a bump on my head upon hitting my head against a shelf, it refuses going down, its becoming too noticeable, want to know whay doctors can do to gt it down, anyone who's done it before can shar with me, was it painful, know it may require cutting and stitching, think mine has become an accumulation of fat oir is it tissue, ned your opinion please,
