Well there was a game 7 alright but it was one-way traffic ATL got a serious beat down and it was down to their poor start like i predicted

@j-girl
It was nice seeing yall thrashing the Spurs you guys should keep it up and whatever you do please make sure you win Game 2 or else  Undecided.LAL are on fire and they are doing it so easily even without Bynum those guys are looking too good Radmanovic,Odom and the head honcho Kobe.The most interesting series though will be the BOS-CAVS matchup i wouldnt even dare make any predictions on that one

Lakers are doing me proud.
Who would have thought the Hawks would give Celtics a tough time. Am beginning to have second thoughts about the celtics getting to the final.

About Dallas, I don't blame Avery as much as I blame Cuban, The dude is too involved in the managerial aspect, all he needs to do is provide the money for trades, sit down and shut the mess up. Sometimes the dude makes me sick.

@Lasiefaire
You took the words out of my mouth i think its unfair to totally blame Avery for whats been happening.That Mark Cuban dude is really overdoing it i mean he practically sits on the team sbench sometimes i wonder why Avery did not include him in the team roster sef maybe he should apply for the vacant coaching position if he loves the team so much

  you know I was at one point last week too, then I remembered the time the ended houston's 22-game streak and coming back from 22 down to beat the champs, both on the road. . . atl was just a speed bump, a very annoying speed bump  Angry  but I am optimistic, they've proven they can win tough games on the road  Cheesy  I think the experience will strengthen the team and teach them never to underestimate any opponent.

  LOL. . . Mark Cuban is annoying sometimes though. But I think some of the clamour is justifiable. The Mavs have excelled during the Reg season past couple years, but not the playoffs with the exception of the yr when they should have beaten Miami and won it all. Avery has to take a good chunk of the blame . . . not all of it, but a healthy portion of it. Left to me, I blame the players - they have no fire in their bellies.

I hope oh, I really want the celtics to beat Cavs. Lebron is becoming cocky, totally blew the wizard series way out of proportion.

I want the Cavs out by hook or by crook! I don't like them anymore - they are the only team that have no team work in them. Everything - LeBron has to do. I still love him sha. And as A-40 said, I won't even try to predict anything

Tonight is the night!!!!! I hope we win again.
Lakers are just going to sweep everyone till they get to the winner of the Spurs/Hornets. I know those teams will slow them down.

I completely agree!  Angry Angry Angry I don't know what his business is. He might be the owner but I doubt he knows that much about managing a team.

I remember when Lakers offered Kobe to the Mavericks for Dirk, they must be regretting they didnt take the deal. I like dirk but the german just don't know when to post BIG numbers. Am glad the Heat won, because am a big fan of D-Wade, but that series and the Cup had Mavericks smelling on it, but poor Dirk just couldnt post the numbers to catch in.

i doubt the Hornets or Spur will beat Lakers, I will prefer we play the hornet, cause deep down the spur are totally unpredictable. Anyway sha the title is for Laker this year. gba be

I buy that a little bit but not that much. Avery has to take most of the blame. There's a reason why he's called the "Little General". He has too much "X" and "O" and I think he is learning. Yes Cuban has his fault but he doesn't play on the court with the players and neither is he the one telling the players what to do. Take for example, Jerry Jones of the Cowboys. He's just as involved in the Cowboys as Cuban is to the Mavericks. So tell me after 5 championships that the Cowboys are not successful. I just thing it's a combination of faults but mainly Avery's. Too many "X" and "O" and he was trying to make the Mavericks like the Spurs instead of finding an identity that works with the Mavericks. If you notice, the Spurs have bunch of old players just like the Mavericks do now. The Mavericks used to be young and athletic. One thing Avery forgot is the fact that Mavs don't have a PF/C like Duncan that could pound you on the post neither does the Mavs have a defensive specialist like Bowen. How can you all of a sudden dump a system and character that took you to the NBA finals? Now we see the new age of basketball where combination of athletism and defense wins. Just look at New Orleans, they are like Phoenix Suns + defense. The way it looks now, the Spurs would have to use artificial oxygen to  keep up with the Hornet's athletism. Players get tired of playing their hearts out on a system that they think would not work. What more kind of fire do you want from them? They double team CP3 and guess what, CP3 finds a way of solving that problem. But because of the "over tacticalness", the players cannot learn to adapt and overcome to actually think for themselves. Think of how many times Devin Harris, JD or JT looks at Avery Johnson during plays just because he wants to call the play. I like Avery but he still in a learning process and I believe years from now he'll be shining in whatever coaching job he has but I believe he still has some learning to do. Dirk is different from Duncan and Howard is different from Bowen. Use what you have to your best ability and get the most out of your players. Plain and simple!

helo 2 evrybody, back again!!!!!!

the lakers broom is weighing heavy in the air, SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP, SWEEP it all

how about the hornets am i seeing double, u hold onto CP3, wests blows up, u then hold onto west, CP3 blows up, thats a team for you, no single key to unlock them, just pray they see out the series, don't blame spurs, they gotta hold on to something

one of my likeable teams, magic are really tryin to against those eastern robots but i'll really like to see them play detroit with billups on the floor, i want to watch the best of them both

as for cavs and celts, never seen defence like this in my life, just like chelsea vs an italian defensive team, the only difference is that defensively minded basketball games are more interesting to watch, thats where great players make or break, goo luck to all but i sign out wit,

SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP, everything

@lai-lai
Not so fast the Jazz gave yall a speed bump yesterday.Derek Fisher's first quarter foul troubles really did kill yall and backup point Jordan Farmar played more like a farmer Odom was also disappointing he should do less ball handling and stay in the paint but to be fair to the Jazz they really outhustled yall Boozer was everywhere and Okur was practically holding a 3 pt shooting clinic

The Magic are doing good but they have to win today or else that series would end in 5.That Cavs and Celts defence is something else its almost like watching Milan and Juve play i mean the 2003 UCL final but that Cavs team is shyte for real but Lebron's goal field ratio was record breaking and i don't mean it in a nice way

@layifioren
Well lets welcome Rick Carlisle the new coach of the Mavs hopefully he can do something and save us from becoming the Denver Nuggets.As for Avery Johnson i think Cuban's overbearing influence did hurt and our foot dragging when it came to trades really didnt work well but less face it Avery is probably the best in Mavs history he won us our only conference title So who do we go for this summer?Antawn Jamison wouldnt be a bad idea we can give them Howard because frankly that guy has been a big disappointment these past few seasons.We also need to let go of those old hags Devean George,Ericka Dampier et al

@j-girl
I am rooting for you guys all the way.Dont worry game 3 was just a temporary setback i am sure you where not thinking you would sweep the Spurs.Tell CP3 to give the ball to Peja more often and try to shake off Tony Parker even though it wont be easy since they are both quick i do hope you guys take the game tomorrow

apart from the turnovers, odom really tried, he was almost 100% from the field, but vujacic and farmar really messed up, i think 0% from the field, but jazz have the best home record so u can argue a sweep was almost impossible, lakers have to be very careful against those guys and try to still the next one

Finally!!!! THANK God!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I definitely knew we would not sweep the Spurs. I mean that would have been nice but i know how the spurs can be.
The game. . . . . . I said it on the other thread, if we won game 3, we would be in trouble because the Spurs will not let go again. However, if we win game 4 like we did against the Mavs, we will maintain that level to bring it back home. Like lai said, one thing i love about the Hornets is that there is not one person that carries the team all by himself. If CP3 is too guarded, West become effective. When West is tied down, Chandler steps up. When Chandler is hindered, Peja becomes free, and when Peja becomes too guarded, CP3 steps up.

Cavs and Celtics - I give up! The game was disgraceful yesterday. It was simply pathetic. Most of the night, Cavs led by 15 pts or more. What do you call that? Angry Angry Angry They better find a remedy to that next game.

Well it seems Magic is out now and I feel so bad for them because they really tried.

Lakers-Jazz, Hahahahaha, that's all i choose to say. I was actually thinking the lakers would have another sweep but it seems williams got a bit mad and jazz really jazzed the Lakers into stupor last time  Grin Grin If they tie the series, that would be fun to watch the lakers actually struggle for the first time in the playoffs.

@j-girl
Congrats on the league title!.I want you guys to win of course CP3 is the man and anything to to end the Spurs tyranny is fine with me but you guys have to win tonight to kill this series you don't want these Spurs to bounce back into this series.Trust me

As for the Detroit-Magic series the clock malfunction really didnt help them they where unlucky in game 2 and game 4 was even worse i don't see them coming back now it seems the Pistons are on their way to their sixth straight conference final

I am not even taking these Celts serious till they win a road game this is becoming very embarassing they where already out of it from the first quarter

UTAH-LAL.Gasol has to step up today so does Odom and if not then Kobe has to take matters to his own hands i hope they win today

You guys definitely need to do some smashing and grabbing Derek Fisher has to play solid D on Deron Williams you also need to guard that perimeter because Okur is a 3 pt bomb threat whenever Utah are at home una go also need to keep Boozer quiet thats for sure
