The Lakers won yesterday.Thank Goodness although it was narrow, man Kobem was on point with 27 and he has to be if the Lakers are going to make it to the final
@Je-soul Even if Gasol is bullied i am sure Lamar Odom would come to his rescue

yeah lets talk ball for sure So you're picking the Lakers too? I don't like the way the players are always waiting for kobe to rise up and save the day, they simply pull back and depend on kobe to save them. . . can't they also show their worth and step up too? what if kobe's back acts up again who's going to be their superman?

No worries honey, the men in green will strike back in motown . I am putting my chips on "big baby" Davis to be a suprise player and I think Allen will finally have that big game - its on baby, its on! lol. I love Stephen A. he's so outspoken and goes right to the point. n Yea he's usually on point in his analysis and predictions BUT I will make sure to tell him if I ever meet him - he (& Barkley) predicted the Lakers would not make the playoffs this season off topic: Have yourself a nice, long memorial weekend.

Phew. The Celtics showed their playoff "rookiness" by losing the lead and the Pistons showed their maturity and experience by coming back to make it tight - thank God we held on to win. And how about Ray Allen! I think we can now take him off the back of the milk carton - he has been found! that was a great game for him - hope this lasts the rest of the playoffs.

and I trust they'll make game 6 very intresting. . . that's been their problem though - inconsistency. Ginobili has 5 pts one night, then 30, then back to single digits. They'll need ALL their stars to have a big nights and play perfect defense in order to have any hopes of coming back from 1-3

@lai-lai WE'RE IN
NOW FOR THE ULTIMATE, i would prefer to play pistons though
You sure u would prefer the pistons?, personally I will prefer to play Boston. I know they have the 66 regular seaoson 'n' all. But this piston team are playoff veterans. Boston 'n' LA are playoff rookies with this particular cast. In the finals playoff doggedness 'n' experience really mater. The pistons are more militia 'n' rugged than boston (remember how they bullied the lakers 2004, a team with 5 hall of fame starters). Who ever they meet the lakers are going to find it tough but the vulnerability in the celtics which is a tard present in the lakers might be explorable. Also as a fan of the game, apart from a Lakerz-Lakerz final the best you can get is Boston-LA with all the history involved. Just ask Stern.

 I am once again planning to attend the inevitable parade that will happening downtown Boston in a few weeks Well Folks. . . .its a lakers-Celtics final I hope they give us a good series. I won't count on it though
Why do you think it won't be a good series? is it because the Celtics will let Kobe be but demolish the rest of the LA squad?

 I am once again planning to attend the inevitable parade that will happening downtown Boston in a few weeks Why do you think it won't be a good series? is it because the Celtics will let Kobe be but demolish the rest of the LA squad? All LA needs to do is keep it close in the 4th quarter and Kobe will do his biz. Odom is not the mismatch problem for Boston as he was for San Antonio and particularly the Jazz I think. They will probably put Posey on him or Powe or Big Baby And if those two victories in the regular season are reasons for your optimism, remember, Gasol was not part of the Lakers team at the time. Allen will probably be the x factor again. The lakers have several defensive specialists they can put on him, notably Kobe and Vujacic. Garnett and Pierce(I expect a monster series from him) will prolly get theirs. Will Allen though?

@Jesoul Dont get too excited.Remember the Giants lol.The Lakers would be tough and they have a deeper bench
@doyin13 You forgot to mention Derek Fisher probably their best defender.If only they had Bynum that would have brought some extra offence its important they try and snatch game 1 though
Detroit have sacked Saunders and its about time if you ask me i mean these guys didnt move forward or backward 3 straight conference final losses is stagnation if you ask me.
P.S: Is anyone watching the Stanley Cup finals.The Penguins narrowly escaped last night

Please - you guys should not tell me that anyone believes the Celtics will actually win the finals. As much as I don't like the Lakers - I'm rooting for our conference. Celtics finally won a road game after a 100 years. Thank GOD! Lakers to win! Allen and Pierce can mess up in big games. Kobe has been more consistent along with the lakers. These things make me know that there is hope for the Lakers to snatch up the title this year. I'm looking forward to next season though - all this coach-sacking better make a difference.
