What Does Nairaland Mean To You?
« on: October 25, 2007, 03:34 PM »

I know we all come hear read people's topics, post our opinions, seek/get info/help and atimes get entertained. But I'll like u to look into yourself and tell us what nairaland truly means to you.Mine is as thus-
To me nairaland represents a community our country Nigeria should look to emulate. It may not seem so to you but I believe that here, irrespective of our backgrounds( both ethnic and religious), orientations, status(financial, marriage), age, etc( including whether you be arsenal or MAN You fan), we have been able to establish a comfortably free and fair community in which we have beeen able to speak fairly of issues that bother us .To me iots a true national conference. Please  tell me what it is to you .Cheers

For someone like me, i love meeting new people and loves making friends so, i found myself registering here as a member. Fortunately for me, i have been able to make some friends (no b say i no get friends before o) and unfortunately, some of these friends have proven to have a very high sense of immaturity and maybe a kind of stupidity-oopps don't mind my french there but all the same, it has been very wonderful, its a site i visit once am stressed up looking for articles from clemcykul and a HOST of others. You guys are really wonderfully brilliant people.

Am proud to be a Nigerian and proud to be a member of nairaland

Seun Osewa, i think you sound too cool to be the olori oko of this site

Love Ya All

Shalom!

A very nice mental playground with a generous range of possiblities as to what you can do.  A very funny place that truly represents Nigeria---lots of mentally retarded people. Grin

You feel like you are in "school" most of the time---with different students and teachers in different classrooms.  You "hug" those who need a "hug" and "slap" those who need a "slap"! Grin

You can hook up with as many people as you are able to and like any thing in life "no conditions is permanent"!  Friends today--enemies tomorrow!  Lovers today ---strangers tomorrow.   That's life. No permanent friends, no permanent enemies!  No need for hard feelings--all na dream!--Life is too short, make the best of it and do not let Nairaland get into your personal life.  It is just a mental playground! Kiss

Got to love it!!!!!!!! Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy The funniest joke is that most take it a little too seriously.  What a way to live! Cheesy
