You know, i was never an aje-butter as a kid. Infact, i remember about 10yrs ago when i travelled home to my village. . .  We own this really large palm plantation that takes weeks to harvest and process. We use machinery for processing the kernel used for industrial purposes, but we manuall prepare our oil for home use. That mortar in the pic is very small, when u see the mortar we use in pounding the kernel we want to use at home, you will understand what i mean.
It requires strong men to pound it. In most cases, my grandparents get more than happy when we arrive in the nick of time to assist.

If i fit do that one, then pounded yam is not a problem

As long as it is for the family, i will do it again and again, and again, and again,  did i stop?  and agin, and again, and again, and again, and still enjoy the meal.But how do i find such a caring wife?

first i promised myself my mum nd whoeva my husband ll b that i ll do whatever is required of me in d kitchen but i lld neava pound not even 4 anytin.dou now she just said sumtin that got me tinkin i lld really love to learn but it determines strength i aint got 1 so if he wants it he can get it done himself

I can do it and will do it with pride sef, because that kind of food is sweet when you dey chop am, you will look into your woman eyes and say, we did it, that is what is called love and sharing and not when the man is sitting watching the TV and the woman is sweating alone.

 My fiance can do it,,hes an Ijesa guy, u should understand now, Ijesas are known for their favourite food, pounded yam with obe osiki,
