What a hush hush affair, this Transcorp offer.

I have friends in Transcorp top management and I never even heard them talking about it. I just found out about it on this Internet. Well good luck to Transcorp with its offer.

However, it can not be in Transcorp's corporate interest for so many people to perceive them as a crony business. Obasanjo and okereke-onyiuke will not be there forever. They are humans and individual power is transient. People power is the power of God they say . it is really the only real power. Tomorrow a pharaoh that does not know Joseph may come in and if public sentiment is that this was an OBJ project, they will just ride on it and revoke their transactions. Ask the Chagourri's. Ask Gaon (the original owner of Nicon Noga which Transcorp just bought). Nothing will happen.

Transcorp should engage a consultant to change public perceptions of it if possible before it is even formed, and do so quickly. Once formed, perceptions are difficult to change. For now, only a few people even know about them.

The PEOPLE are the real sovereign not OBJ. The way they have handled this offer does not indicate that they know this.
