Abike Dabiri a fellow speaker and well respected woman said how can Etteh expect to rule over her own case, that that is not a quality of a good leader.

It is not done any where in the world.

(1) No work has been done in the 4 months since the house resumed.

(2) A fellow speaker died as a result of her stubbornness  (That alone should have made her resign. It showed she was not remorseful)

(3) She wanted to preside over her own Investigation. Very Absurd.

(4) As at friday the 26th of October she wanted to go to court to defend herself.  "Haba !!! Sister Etteh Omo Ikire which wan?"

From the above 4 factors alone it shows she does not have leadership qualities and as a result should not have been made the speaker in the first place.

Compared to Reputable women like of Okonjo-Iweala, Abike Dabiri, Dora Akinyuli, Izekwesili (not sure about the spelling, A.K.A. madam due process the former minister of education in the immediate past government), Etteh is a disgrace to womanhood.

I  honestly feel for this woman because  she's a victim of circumstance, though i'm not comfortable with her shoddy handling of the house contract but it's so unfortunate that those calling for her head are not innocent either. It's good  as she's has thread the path of honour by stepping aside for the issue to be debated which to me signify her exit from the prestigious seat.  we shall see as events unfolds in the house full of dishonourable men. God bless Nigeria!

It is quite incredible to imagine that she's just resigning NOW! It is too late, omoye has entered market. It's a good as useless, anyway, for one thing it is good that the house can now sit.-

Wow,
You people rejoicing are just enemies of progress. We that sponsored her to the house(On behalf of Adedibu, Bode George and OBJ)  as Speaker are very sad about

this unconstitutional development in the house She should remain the one and only loudSPEAKER in the house. Grin Grin If you don't want her in the Federal House , we

would sponsor her to her husband's house or better still OTA house and she would be the only umimpeachable SPIKA

But seriously How is she going to get a refund of the payment in Kind she made to Adedibu, Bode George and the 3 nights she spent in Ota under the blanket at least

Stella no dey around.

The new speaker should let us deliberate on this issues because those 3 men have scammed her and ravaged her hard earned and well taken care of "Kind". EBCC

Economic and Body Crimes Commission Take note!!!   Grin Grin

Nigerian women should be embarrassed on her behalf!
I am actually ashamed on her behalf. She is one stone hearted woman and now she will have time to take care of her 2 foster kids. Now I can understand what her ex-husband suffered in her hardened heart. Bad example Angry

PRIDE GOETH B4 A FALL

she could have stepped down without all the drama

but we all know the saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely"

it's d price we have to pay as nigerians, we leave qualified people and pick people without experience to lead us.

A country where some people can hardly afford a decent balanced meal, yet we have people spending six hundred n something million naira on just friggin renovation.
