Seun, where were those pictures taken? what we in Ijebu Ode area of ogun witnessed was partial eclipse, but afterwards the sun was so crystal clear that it seemed like the sky was brightened by Halogen

Yeah, that was a beautiful thing to behold ! i was at work and i saw it on the T.V and i was like: whuaooooo  its brings to bear the knowledge of geography we did in those days. its good to put into practice or into reality what one learnt. i have truly enjoyed the sight ! Cheers guys

I took mine in Sango Ota, Ogun State, where I live.
At the darkest point of the eclipse it was as dark as it is in the evening or when it's about to rain. That's the point at which I took the later set of pictures by pointing the camera directly at the cloudy sky. The first set was taken by pointing the camera at a reflective water basin. It was a partial eclipse in my area.

i experienced a partial eclipse of the sun at about 9:36 this morning and i had on a uv glasses,and my brother took some pictures,i would like to share the picture with other members.

i saw the eclippse today at Ibadan for the first time in life and it was so amazing too bad i don't have a video camera to film the whole thing.the pictures taken by seun are absolutely most fantastic.i must confess you guys are doing a very nice job over here at nairaland please keep it up.at least with the pictures displayed here people who are not in those locations will be able to see them.

I managed to get some pics with my digital camera. they were the best i could get. i used a smoked transparent glass (included in the pics) to view it it served as a protection for my eye and for a better
