Not all PCMCIA Card of starcomms works with Laptop, what am trying to say is that the New kinds of Laptops produced now, i mean the latest laptops does not work with this card, so its advicable you get yourself a USB Cord type.

you have two options with starcomms mobile broadband, you either buy the card or usb modem(same price) http://www.starcomms.com/bbs_prices.phpu could return the card to starcomms and swap it for the usb modem.

There are 2 types of PCMCIA card slots. DV6536 comes with type-1 PCMCIA slot while Starcomms card requires type-2.
