And incase u experience any problems during installation, maybe concerning PC Specs. (64 bit users)
We do not support 64 bit users for now, but the download for the alternate version has started;

Ubuntu 7.10 Gusty Gibbon DVD (4.23GB)

I will notify everyone once the DVD is ready!

You are such a big fool, a senseless moron. If u can see, I just created the Thread!
You're the kind of people we don't need, u lack sense of dialogue. you are a dreadfully pedestrian sycophant and a ludicrous, mattress-soiling mass of neuroses and complexes.

oh! damn! Thats some ishh! You connected an external H D D to your system and installed Ubuntu. .
This means, Windows XP has been configured to show on the Ubuntu OS Loader (Grub), which also means the boot.ini file may have been altered. I can't really tell u what to do on this one because, it has never happened to me.  .

I will try it on a junk system when I get to work tomorrow morning and see how I can help!
But u can try this out. .

Get your Windows XP CD and repair the previous windows installation,

Well, Yes - reinstalling Windows might be the only way out in this sitiuation. .
And ofcourse, u can re-install windows on the same partition but in a different folder, and organize your files before u do a full re-installation of your desired OS

Ofcourse, u dnt expect all your Windows Applications to work, let alone Nokia PC Suite. . Come on Man!
They're built for different platforms, Why don't u dual boot Windows XP/Vista along with Ubuntu.
Otherwise, u can get the Ultimate Edition of Ubuntu distros which usually have everything!
Maybe, something like Wine can help u out! I am not assuring u tho!
But Wine helps, I even installed Internet Explorer 6 when I was using Fiesty Fawn.

The ultimate editions are your best bet, I am currently downloading the latest edition which is Gusty based, I started the download yesterday, u can see progress below. u can also E-mail me for a HTTP, or Torrent link if u want to try to download it on your own or u just wait. I will be done tomorrow, or later this evening.

Then we can talk on phone to sort out other things, like how I can mail a copy to u! Whichever suits u!

As u can see in the picture above, my connection fluctuates, I am also tyring to download Vista Ultimate X86, thats why the UUE1.6 download is taking so long Smiley

You can call me on, 08033735087 or Send an E-mail
