Congrats to everyone with offer letters, I'm truly happy for you. God that did yours is still alive and he'll surely do ours. Right now, I've decided to leave everything in God's hands, He'll handle it better than shell or any other company for that matter.

For those like me with the 12 months grace, I really hope you guys are not giving up on God, there's no way He'll bring you this far and then leave you to shame. Let's all be steadfast in our prayers, God will surely answer us.

guys which one be witness form? its just two forms 1. staff reg 2. acceptance slip abi?
n there were no provisions made for a witness as stated in the offer letter but i didnt include a witness
and i submitted mine yesterday to Agnes Oke who went thru it and accepted it. We just talk abt the bank details
which she said i shld leave blank.

pls take note conditions of service/contract agreement is your own copy offer letter inclusive. Submit  just the other two

@ Nkenke, Thanks for the concern and comeradeship you have shown thus far. I must however express my reservation about having the contract documents for keeps without giving your employers the courtesy of having their copies. In my small employment experience, this (TERMS AND CONDITONS) is one document employers jealously request and guard. If you read the offer letter as much as I am sure everybody else did, I am confident that you'd have a change of opinion as it was expressly stated that that document, among others, should reach SHELL on or before the 22nd.
While I do not doubt AGNES OKE's position, curious though, I believe she did that inadvertently, or she mistook your submission for the required documents for the 18th (or rather 17th).
Whatever, I dont think it would cost anybody anything if you sent photocopies of that duly signed and witnessed document. That way you would absolve yourself of any blame or omission.
Nkenke, since you are in PH, you would do us well to revisit Agnes and raise the issues mentioned herein. That way you would have done us, you inclusive, a whole lot of good. Many thanks in anticipation. Pardon my use of space.

Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation
« #1725 on: June 16, 2009, 09:52 PM »

@nkenke,  i did exactly the same thing u did,  i actually submitted my letter to Abigail in the presence of Agnes Oke,  like u said, shell requires only two documents from you. Your staff registration form and the acceptance form

I had no witness signature on any of my forms,  as a matter of fact , i went with all my documents and they returned all to me except the two i mentioned earlier.  In otherwords, the benefit stuff with your signature on it belongs to you.

@aguyemd, I understand your anxiety,  this is  probably because u intend to send urs by courier,  well,  if u still have doubts, you can attach photocopies like u suggested.   You could also call agnes OKE,   Pls note tha their office is the open floor kind of office, therefore agnes has direct access to her boss, so whatever she tells u is as good as coming from her boss,   For instance after abigail, examined my forms and certifying them accurate, i still complained that i had no bank account on my form,  she sed it didnt matter much,,, but to be certain, she quickly walked over to her boss,  He(the boss, sorry i dont know his name) said i could provide the details of the account when i resume since i didnt come wt details of my account.  Note because not every bank is valid, so u need to know d shell nominated banks,  UBA is one of them,  i dont know about d others,

I hope i helped clear the air on some issues,  But if u need info from the horses mouth, call abigail or agnes,  they're all in d same office, they could transfer u to someone superior if they dont av answers to your questions

@aguyemd tnx for the advice, wat i understood was dat on assumption we would still be provided with that
contract document to sign which includes dat of the acomodation in edjeba.

for the bank details babake is right, we will be briefed in edjeba on the shell nominated banks and be
required to fill the space there.  These forms we are submitting now is for the purpose of onboarding i.e access card, profile
activation, laptops(maybe), so they(the forms) will be sent to edjeba i.e Dr. Ken Anierobi's Office. So chillax guys
u would have the opportunity of meeting your forms again in edjeba.

Shell is a conservative company, since u have ben given an offer letter
u are already a Shell staff, hence any mistakes will be brought forward
to you for corrections, feel free to ask for information from the recruitment peeps
its their job to be at your service now.
