Hello nairalanders. I have a little matter i would love u guys to help me sought out. I've had several girlfriends whose ethnicity is Edo. However funny enough, each time any of my friends (females) find out that i'm getting into a deeper relationship with any of them, they cry blue murder, reasons being that Edo girls are someting else as wives. I've tried to find out why but they seem not to be forth coming. Can sombody say something about this or is there something I don't know about Edo girls?

mpraise123, u forgot to let us know where u are from, you or your friends have no right to generalise when it comes to peeps from a particular location. perhaps they have had experiences with some in the past but that doesnt mean it will be same with you. it could be better or even worse. how funny life is, someone else might say if it isnt an edo girl, he wont marry, summary is, how well do you flow with them? this will determine the next level the relationship might head. but i'ld rather say 'SHINE YA EYE' Edo girls will force life out of you during sex, they never get tired i thot that was with calabar girls |

hey ladies! I didn't start up the Edo girl thing to start a fight, please don't misunderstand my motive. I was only seeking counsel from people I believe should know. By the way I don't come from Nigeria but I grew up here and i've travelled a lot across the country. I've got lots of nice Edo friends (male & female). I am from Delta state but grew up in Edo state so when we are talking about Edo girls which of the tribe do we mean? we have the ishan, bini and auchi.
As for me ishan girls are good , bini girls better and i think the best are the Auchi girls.

I'm Eshan from Edo state and I can confidently say that our women (Edo women) are too much. We are strong, Industrious, confident, extremely reliable, stubborn, beautiful, warm, funny, wonderful company and the list goes on. Edo women make wonderful wives but hate being taken for granted. Every human being has one thing or the other that is not so good about them and Edo women are human too, but on a scale of 1 to 10 they are a perfect 20.  |

Well, ive had my stint at Edo girlz, Bini precisely, schooled in Uniben so why not, Edo girls are just too real for Nigerians to comprehend thats why all this talk, from my experience, they are either dedicated or not, love u or not, no half measures or mediocrity. In my opinion Ibo girls are the ones that shuld be dreaded especially if u are an ibo boy because they are all about what they can get(often times material things). Edo girl anytime men, peace

Edo girls are not that bad but with my little experience in staying in Benin, i discover that during normall dating, Edo girls are not sincere. more than majority of the girls are flirts.
i dated an ishan girl who was never sincere to me. i caught her having an affair with more than one guy before i quited the relationship and not only that an Ishan friend of mine told me to beware of Ishan girls including his sister. A Bini friend of mine just ended one year relationship with his Ishan girlfriend because his mother told him not to have anything to do with Edo girls. and i generally hear people say that
-- Bini girls end up bewitching their husband to dead that is why we have more landladies in Benin then landlords
-- Ishan girls bewitch their husband so that he will dislike his family members and deny them of any possible asssistsnce he can render to his family. rather he divert attention to his wife family.
