Charities

Ok if this post is offensive to anyone let me start from the offset it is not intended to be.

I am wondering what people think of charity groups like worldvision that encourage people to do the fourty hour famine (go without food for 40 hours to raise money for 3rd world countries)

Personally I do not beleive in giving money to charity groups like worldvision because I honestly do not beleive my money helps anyone but them, I still help in other ways (For instance if I had grown out of clothes that are still in good condition dad takes them back to nigeria and donates them)

Not everything can be solved with money, charties merely make people feel better. Other things need to be done!

Word!.

Charities kind of make me sick and question what their job is. They just make the 3rd world countries feel like crap by collecting people's money and making A-list as the world's best charity home.  Seriously i buy the idea of helping the less priviledge but what i don't buy is how they show them on TV and start crying and making the poor priviledge's as display product for you to send money to their company. I really don't think charity homes are doing the things they want the world to think they are doing.

I just don't buy charity idea... I feel they don't help the less priviledge. The less priviledge don't need much of your money, they need someone to be there for them. Well i guess i don't know what i am talking about, but something within says chrity homes aren't doing what they should be doing.

I still send stuffs to charity homes, but i ain't gon send my money there. Just stuffs.

Charity is something good and you should keep giving as long as you have.In one way or the other you receive the reward
