Glasgow is scotland has won right to host the 2014 commonwealth games afetr beating off our dear nation Nigeria. Glasgow secured 47 votes against 24 for Abuja out of a total of 71 member countries.
Are we really in a better position to host this tornament at the moment.

Obviously not, there were probably no plans for the infrastructure after the games
anyway we just saved about £300m! yeahhhhh!

Thought of that as well, £300M can be channelled somewhere more useful.

we must be stupid as a nation to contest at all. a nation with high levels of poverty and monumental rot in social services should busy itself in solving basic problems that bug its people.
