The fact that Tu-Face survived gunshots is no longer news. But his fans threw a survival party, perhaps to thank God for rescuing him from the jaws of death. The party was actually a street show of sorts, where artistes in the Festac area stepped on the stage singing and dancing. Just as the groove became groovier and the celebrant was in one corner with friends chatting and laughing, all hell was let loose. Guess what? There was an uncontrollable fight and no one knew what caused the fight. http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2007111021544490

This poster makes me annoyed Girls dressing badly is an annoying excuse for Rape Rape is classified as a PREDETERMINED CRIME not a spontaneous crime. The fact that someone is half naked does NOT excuse any rapist Until African men stop and look around and stand up against rapist themselves, we would always have things like this happening. The rapists are proud of themselves and the poor girls go home crying to brothers who tell them to "DRESS WELL" so what do u say about reverend sisters who are raped? or do they dress badly too? rubbish !!!

The punch writer Adaeze Amos, a stupid woman, is the culprit. It is an insult for a woman to be saying things like "who could blame the men". has she ever been a man to experience the "uncontrollable urge to rape under-dressed women" that she assumes all men have?

My dear arinzology I am sorry to have seemed angry at you I am angry actually at what that woman wrote Because each time i read about rape that is always the stupid excuse that both MEN and Foolish women alike give I think it is utterly unfair to the women folk and i cannot imagine this is coming from a woman Let us see how she feels when her own daughter ( whom i assume is always well dressed ) is raped

But come to think of it,its really tempting what some of this gurl wear. dey expose dia breast and oda sexy part of dia body to the admiration of so many men. If a woman dress modest hardly will dey be raped.that is the truth. But that woman was wrong sha to hv passed judgement knwing she is a journalist. Its ok.Jst be calm Ok.

i read the article too, i actually thought someone wrote the letter to the post, then i saw the same name on most of their weekend report totally disgusting!
you'D think an educated Nigerian-journalist for that matter would be at the forefront of the campaign against rape but no not in Nigeria, where women blame their fellow women first before the criminals!
its about time someone wrote to the punch newspaper- they should drop that woman are stories are crap anyway-always reads like some hint magazine bullshyte!

Some ladies present were raped, while some luckily escaped. Surprised? You shouldnât be. But need we blame the rapists, what with the dressing of some of the girls, who were scantliy dressed? a woman actually wrote this? meaningful journalism is dead in this country.
