Hey guys,
I just joined Nairaland. I have been browsing the site from time to time and spreading the news about it as well. I have chosen to be an observer until now. The dialogue, for the most part is constructive too. In general, I am happy that such a site exists for the advancement of IT skills amongst Nigerians in Nigeria and the diaspora.
I am more of a web architect than designer/developer. My goal is to start a business in Nigeria where I offer advice on SEO, web standards, website design/redesign, architecture, etc. I do, however, create websites on the side. One of such is
http://www.southsouthforum.org . Nope, I am not advertising for them

. This is a site run by folks in the US for the sole purpose of promoting a candidate from the south-south region. Other than the header and a few photos, it's all CSS and readable on screen, PDA and is printer-friendly as well. I have another site:
www.geocities.com/myibibio , my pet project devoted to preserving the Ibibio culture in the diaspora.
Patriotic comrades!! Do check out these 2 sites and provide constructive feedback. They have been live for at least 6 months and do well on the search engines. They have also been viewed by folks in pretty much every single continent, except antartica (so I must be doing something right

).
Anyway, I am just proud to finally be a registered member of this site. I look forward to reading/responding to your posts.
May we all succeed in our respective endaveours in Jesus name - Amen!!
