I have been trying to install window 2000 on my computer but at the point of installing Microsoft Office 2000.
The system did not recognise the CD-ROM that contain the installation disk. Can somebody tell me the procedure to take from formating the hard disk from DOS to the final installation.
I don't think i get you. Are you trying to install Windows 2000 or Office 2000?
Anyways, if the problem is Windows 2000, this will get you in the right direction.
If the Cd is not bootable, create setup boot disks. You will need 4 floppies and don't forget to set your BIOS to boot from floppy drive. If you have more problem(s), lets know.
