I heard this song twice yesterday on Bentv and i LOVED it, really beautifully put together, nice video, village scene with orchestra strings, beautiful. The lady vocalist , don't know her name has a lovely voice, it was really well put together, i don't like alot of Nigerian music, but i would buy his album after seeing this one and skontolo.
I think he really has a pure musical mind , very creative and refreshing, nice blend of jazz, afro beats,twang of juju. Love it he has restored my faith in Nigerian sounds.

Hot-angel, Lagbaja is MARRIED. And I bellieve happily so (at least they've been together for years). His wife is a top marketing professional, and I think she's even his manager. Probably does all his packaging.
I do agree that he and Ego have a good connection and if polygamy was allowed, it should have happened ages ago. Many scandal papers have hinted at them having an affair, I don't know the latest, but when I last checked, he was still with his wife.
between, have any of you ever seen his face (i think his real name is Lisabi or so). We had to take a flight together once after face of Africa in Ghana. You cna not wear a mask if you are boarding a plane. He was with his band boys and his height gave him away. He is good looking. The mask thing is becoming tired. But most of his fans do not wish to see his face. At every concert I have attended with him playing, he asks the fans should I remove the mask? and they mostly shout No!
I was a Lagbaja fan way back in 1992/3 when he was not yet discovered (before the first album). Then he only played live at The Den, Ikeja. Ali Baba , the comedian was his side show. I would rave about the two of them to everyone, like a lunatic. Great to see they both became commercial successes. I'm not so much into him these days.
