There is no big deal about being unmarried at 39. In my tribe alot of men get married well into their 30's
I have a cousin who recently got married at about 45. Another got married around 36 or so. They had no previous wives or kids
Just let them be.

Uh, I think it's kind of odd and different. But odd & different does NOT mean bad. I have an aunt & uncle (not blood relations but they're from my place) and he's like 20yrs or so older than her. He doesn't look it but she was like 17/18 when they married and he was like 35-38 or so. He'd lived in the US for many years and had no previous wife or kids. They've been happily married the whole time from what I can tell and from what I've heard. THey have 2 lovely sons and are quite social and confident in the community. So odd situations bred good things.
The "things don't add up" part is of some concern. I think your problem is that you don't think he's being completely honest & that has nothing to do w/ age.

Well,he had a Nigerian girl friend who later duped and disappointed him when he was in South Korea and the Korean girls do not marry foreigners in their land. He had to go back to Nigeria before he could find another girl to marry. He was in South Korea for a pretty long while. |
