Windows has more apps and more user-base than apple, we should not debate this. However, apple is a better system when it comes to security and stability.

We are talking about the number of applications that run on windows, we are not talking about the number of applications that microsoft writes. Even if you compare it microsoft writes more applications that apple does.

You should recognize that microsoft is THE dominant force in the software industry, that been said - it doesn't make it the best software company (perhaps when it comes to making profit). MACs have their advantages but you can't argue that MACs have more softwares than windows.

anusule,

It's not another thread to downgrade windows. We are sharing our thoughts that's all.

I use both. Sincerely, Mac is better, more stable and secured.
Never really been a fan of MAC, but I must confess that MAC is really cool; better than Windows

Hey Guys

I am new MAC user and I quite appreciate the slim Hardware as well as the software
My intention is to run Windows within my MAC, I got a tip about Boot Camp but understand Boot Camp only works on Tiger.
Ive just noticed Virtual PC 7.0.2 on Mactopia, but unable to trace its location on Microsoft Download Portal
Can anyone help with this download

Thanx

i understand that Boot camp can only be used in cases where you want to partition and install windows on another partition of the MAC system and not entirely taking out MAC OSX.

The thing is, i can't seem to get hold of the Boot Camp, Apple has taken it off their site and from most sites.

if you have it, i'll be glad to get a copy uploaded so i can download  Grin

I have a copy of bootcampassistant.pkg on my harddrive, it's about 400MB.

I could upload it somewhere, but it would be wiser to burn to CD.

I need OS X Leopard 10.5.*, I don't want a BETA version, I want it's official release.

Does anyone have this?
