For my fellow and mature liverpool fans,i'm sorry i had to deal with d internet tout first.
It still hurts,d way we lost.i'm not trying to do d gaffer's job but i think it was ridiculous for rafa to have settld wit that kind of formation.a 4-4-2(2 wingers) wasnt the best for a team like man utd.
A 4-2-2-2 would have been better.with gerrard deployd in d hole position(behind the strikers),then lucas playing d role of a central midfielder and mascherano playing d defensive midfield role wit constant support from lucas.
Ronaldo as usual wont step up in big games,so he is of little threat.wit d central midfield looking tight,gerrard now has a primary aim of supporting d two strikers.and if any threat came from d wings or midfield,all we had to do was to fall towards the threat.also,a torres/babel strike duo would have been marvelous.i humbly hope that rafa can just try out this formatn.may i add that it was a shame that riise couldnt take advantage of an off-day ronaldo.
Arbeloa also faild to impress,after great performances especially at d nou camp ,he really disappointd.maybe an in-form sissoko would been d better in d place of a mascherano(that was just complaining through out and couldnt step up his game)in d defensve midfld.a sissoko we saw in his 1st and 2nd year at anfield,a sissoko who was a bully at d nou camp.it really hurts me when i see him perform woefully nowadays.
